I was out of the country for a couple of years and had a LOT of leaves to clean up as I live on a mountain on the edge of a forest. The Leaf Shredder was easy to assemble and simple to use.
Leaves have to be added slowly or it plugs up. Larger twigs must be removed by hand before mulching or it plugs up. Constant bending over to pick up the next bunch of leaves to be mulched is hard on your back....bend at the knees! Buy lots of extra string because they are always breaking. But...the only leaf mulcher I could really find unless you spend 4x's as much for a leaf and branch mulcher and I hear the LEAVES plug those up! It does supply a nice mulch for garden beds without having to dispose of your leaves else where and buy other wood mulches to put on your yard...use what you've got on hand, saves energy and the enviroment. I'll keep using mine until something better comes along.

Cat waste newspapers are wet and won't burn. This solves my recycling problems.

The Leaf Shredder made the job easier, normally i would have 65 bags os leaves it cut it down to 20 bags.
