When I travel I have always packed a 4 cup coffee maker as I do not want to use the one in most hotel rooms (dirty, etc...). This is perfect! It takes very little room and makes great coffee! If you travel you need this in your suitcase! I might get another one for my office!

It would have been nice if a 12oz disposable cup would have fit in the dispenser. I don't like to take the cup home from the office every weekend to run it through the dishwasher. I bought "coffee pods" - small coffee & filter combination to eliminate the mess of loose coffee grounds for ease of cleaning. For the small one-cup size, it makes a pretty good cup of coffee - fast, too! Overall, very pleased.

I returned one of those pod makers because it made terrible coffee. This maker makes rich coffee and the cup with the travel top keeps it hot. This is perfect for my cubicle. I'm very happy and wide-awake at work now. Also, those pods (not the cups) fit in the permanent filter.

Easy to operate, and the included cup has good insulation, but it can't be used with any cup which will fit in a car cup holder. Fine for home use.

Everything about my previous Coffee pot is good shape. The ON switch Died. I will give Brookstone another try with a New similar unit. Can I get my former unit fixed? want just one cup of fresh coffee, and you want it fast! It makes very
good coffee, unlike many drip coffee makers which produce a weak,
watery brew regardless of what coffee you use. Although I use it at
home, it's small and attractive and would fit in very well at the office.
We use a Capresso on a regular basis and the coffee from this single
cup coffee maker tastes almost as good!

Much to my surprise this coffee maker makes a GREAT cup of coffee. I no longer waste a pot of coffee by leaving it behind when I go off to work. Now I make a cup and have it with breakfast and make another cup to go. It's easy to make and I love using fresh grinds and not having to use a pod although you can if that is what you prefer.

I bought this single-cup coffee maker for my husband who travels weekly on business. The one cup size is the perfect size for his ride to the airport on Monday mornings. It's much less expensive than buying a cup of coffee at the airport. The lid fits well onto the cup and there's no worry that it'll come off. The cup keeps the coffee warm and is very easy to wash.

I bought this for my boyfriend who loves coffee but does not love the brand of coffee used in the office. With this he can keep it on his desk and use his own favorite coffees.
I was very disappointed to see how small the travel mug was. Every travel mug I have ever purchased is at least 16oz, when they say this coffee pot makes one cup at a time, they mean one 8oz cup. It is also advertised as it brews in 2 minutes, the first thing I read on the box when I opened it was "brews in 4 minutes". It just wasn't what I expected.

This coffee maker is the best investment. It DOES NOT leak (like others have said)at all and is easy to use. It will leak if you over fill the resevour, but other than that getting used to it and how it works- you will get the best use out of it. A+++ highly.

This is a beautifully styled little coffee maker. Cup is stainless inside and out and holds the heat wonderfully. Inside of coffee maker, however, is plastic. Brewing is indeed fast. Coffee maker is sized so that you must use only two level scoops of ground coffee --- otherwise it overflows and inside of coffee maker is full of grounds and requires thorough cleaning before reuse. This means that if you want a really strong cup of coffee this will not do the trick. The other important thing to remember is to wait several minutes after brewing --- otherwise there will be leakage. So this is great for a quick not-to-strong cup of coffee --- a good afternoon pick-me-up.
