Temporpedic pillows are the only ones I buy. We also have the bed and it's great for people with back problems. The worst part of the material is it's hard when it's cold, but it comforms as soon as it gets body heat and then warms you up.

Bought this pillow on a trip to the US 2 years ago. Have never slept a night without it since.
This must be the best travelled pillow ever.
It has been on trains, planes, ships and automobiles - from Cuba, Costa Rica, Peru,Mexico, Alaska, Maui and all the way home to New Zealand.
It has retained its perfect original shape and I no longer suffer from back and neck problems.
I now give this pillow as a gift to friends and they all rave about it.

I had back surgery a while ago and this is the only pillow that lets me sleep properly waking up rested and without any back aches.
What surprised me though, was the size of the standard pillow. It is definitely shorter width-wise than my regular pillow and I would have ordered the larger size.

We have two of these pillows. One we just bought, and one a little over a year old. Yes, they do get softer and they may not provide as much support as they age, but we love them. I personally find them a bit hard when you first get them, so I like that they soften up a bit. We tried two generic versions of this pillow from a home store once before and they were terrible and didn't hold up well. Yes, they're a bit more expensive, but they're worth every penny in my opinion. I've never had a better nights sleep than on this pillow. I have been converted.

Since the first night I used it, the pain in my neck was gone. It has given me years of rested and pain free nights.
Unfortunately it's time to get a new one, it has become too soft and it flattens and caves.
But I would highly recommend it without hesitation.

I always have trouble with neck pains, waking up stiff and sore and was disgusted buying regular pillows, never finding one that was truly comfortable. Your Tempur-pedic pillow is the best thing I've ever encountered. I just bought it and already my neck is feeling so much better.
I absolutley love it and will be buying more in the future. I am also going to buy your mattress pad, until I can afford to buy a complete mattress set. I am in love with your product and can't say enough about it.

I've had neck pain for a long time, and never equated it to my pillow. After reading about the number of dust mites and junk in my old pillow, I bought one of these. My neck pain is gone, and I'm continually happy to fall asleep each night. It does take some time to break in fully, but after a week of use, it's just fantastic.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT, BUT...
By Devoted even with flawsVerified Reviewer from TORRINGTON on 12/21/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Good Support
Cons:
FIRMNESS DETERIORATES
Best Uses:
Primary Bed
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Stylish
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

When this pillow is brand new, it's great, wonderful neck support, firm, everything you need, especially if you have any neck problems. My only issue is that, by the end of a year, the firmness of the pillow deteriorates, leaving you without proper support, and having to find a receipt and go through the return process or purchasing the pillow again as I had to this year. With the pillow costing over a hundred dollars, your left feeling quite frustrated. I love the pillow though, and find it almost impossible to sleep using anything else, so I'm devoted inspite of it's flaws.

Describe Yourself:

I love my pillow ! My sister visited me recently, and she brought in something that caught my eye.

So, I asked her what in the world it was.
She said 'this is my pillow', and it helps me sleep and I can't leave home without it !
She said, 'remember all the troubles I have had with my neck for so long ?' I told her, 'Yes ' !
Then she told me that she no longer had any problems with her neck since she has her pillow !

So, we went online while she was here, and ordered one for me !
My pillow literally puts me to sleep ! I had a huge issue with snoring, until I received my pillow !

THANKS,
Dianne Herring

good when new, then goes flat
By LATVerified Purchaser from Milwaukee, WI on 12/1/2007
Pros:
Comfortable
Cons:
Chemical Odor when new, Develops Cavity, Goes flat after a year, Too soft after use
Best Uses:
Guest Bed
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical, Tempurpedic owner
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have had this pillow for over three years now. It worked well until about a year after I purchased it. At that point, the pillow started to go flat and lose its shape and effectiveness. I am a small person, so I wasn't too big or heavy for the pillow. I am not impressed with this pillow. I purchased a generic memory foam pillow and it has held up for two years now. Save your money and buy generic memory foam pillows.

I do stand by the Tempur-Pedic mattresses though.

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

I have had this pillow since 2002 and have not looked back. No more complaints of my neck hurting anymore. It is also great to travel w/; Just roll up the pillow and fit into your suitcase or carry on. The only problem is that my husband (5'11", ~200lbs) did not enjoy his standard-sized tempurpedic pillow. He would occasionally use it but then have to make it "thicker" by fluffing other pillows on it. So, we're now going to get him the thicker version of tempurpedic for him.

The pillow takes a couple weeks to get used to for some people. But is good for your neck. The only problem i have is that i have to exchange it after a year or so due to it shrinking down, which i was told was not supposed to happen.
