We had a bed that was losing its support/softness and decided to try a topper to see if it would work. Initially, we tried a topper from another store that was much cheaper. This was pretty good for me, but too soft for my wife. Also it sagged slightly in the middle and on the sides.
We next tried the Brookstone Tempur-pedic, and found it to be a reasonable though pricey compromise. It doesn't have the same cushiness, but didn't sag either.

It is used on top of a good mattrees. There are no pressure points, and I feel as if I am floating. It does slide a bit under the fitted sheet, but I just shake it out and reposition it when changing the bed clothes. Am grateful for a more restful sleep each night. It's worth every dollar spent.

Previously I used a plush, soft mattress topper but found that over time fluff turned into lumps. When my Tempur-Pedic arrived it took some time to adjust to the firm feel. I knew Tempur-Pedic was a quality product with a great reputation. Within a week I was madly in love with the topper and I am worried I won't sleep as well without it. I highly recommend the topper.

This is my first Tempur-pedic topper and I absolutely love it. It feels a little stiff at first but within moments, it heats up from your body temperature and is the most comfortable sleep I have ever had. It is a pure pleasure!

My daughter finds it very hard to get comfortable and already had the temper-pedic pillow. I highly recommend the temper-pedic mattress topper for anyone who has problem sleeping or back problems. I have even taken a nap on her bed!

I like the tempur pedic mattress pad except for the fact that it develops ridges in the spots that we sleep in. This was one feature I was told would not happen. For the price, I thought this was the best on the market.

i bought one for my daughter's bed, and it became the most comfortable bed in the house. the tempurpedic toppers are a little pricey, so i though i'd try the others that claim to be just as good at a half the price. i bought cheaper "memory" foam toppers for my two sons beds, and within a few months, we were joking that those developed "alzheimers." two years later, my daughter's is still perfect. now im back to buy two more for my sons.

We have had our Queen Tem. Pad for quite some time now. Without it i don't sleep well. It takes the hardness away from the mattress. I like a firm mattress but this pad really helps one not to feel it.

love love love love it. it is comfy, yet has support. I wanted a temp bed, but not one that I could sink way into with no support but this on, oh god it is soo comfy and has support. it is a must buy

All I can say is - not worth the money. I like nice things, but this really is a scam - either spring for the full depth "memory foam" mattress (which, I admit, is heavenly) or get a cheaper pad; the 1" tempurpedic pad really isn't worth it.
