Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The fact that the older model resets the zero point when you initially step off and then back on removes one of the two major errors with bathroom scales (the other is scale factor that I don't care about on a day-to-day basis). I assume the new unit does this also. The unit I have measures weight to 1/2 pound. I can tell a full dinner from a light dinner. I monitor my weight on a twice-a-day basis, and use that as a measure on how much food to eat, rather than trying to count calories. Please don't stop offering this product!
