My wife and I were skeptical about the claim that a Tempurpedic bed can actually relieve our back pain caused by spring mattresses. But because of the 90-day money back guarantee, we finally decided to try it. Now we're positive it's the best decision we ever made. Say good bye to back pain.

Replaced a high-end mattress selected for--but not providing--relief from nocturnal hip pain. This Tempur-Pedic deluxe mattress and box spring have been great since the first night!

The tempurpedic took awhile to get used to. It was very soft at the store and a little more firm when delivered, but the store one probably has been laid on many times. I have not had any aches or pains waking up and do feel more rested. I have had a Sealy pillowtop and a Serta, but both started to "sink" after a year...I'm 6'2" and 250 lbs. My wife never even stirs when I get up very early in the morning to go to work. The only trick is getting away from it's grasp...so comfortable you won't want to get up :)! As far as price...do the math...a "good" standard is about [$]...and with Tempurpedic's 20 year guarantee...you would probably replace a standard mattress every 5 years...so after 20 years Tempurpedic could be @[$]and 4 standard "good" mattresses would be around [$]. It's just smart investing. Back it up with knowing a few people who have them and swear by them and reading only good reviews! Do the research, but I think you'll get the same conclusion....good investment...physically and financially! [...]

The box spring squeaks, the bed slumps down and stays that way, doesn't pop back to normal. Disappointed, have a higher expectation than that.

Try to feel by yourselve personally
By BunVerified Reviewer from Queens, NY on 10/22/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Good Support, Soft Feel
Cons:
Kind of expensive
Best Uses:
Primary Bed
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

For this kind of mattress, you realy need to feel it yourselve in order to determine if this is right for you. After I have tried this for few months, there are really no pressure points against any parts of your body. You can really relax for all night sleep. The only complain I would say is the price. It is more expensive than the other regular mattress. If you can afford it, should give it a try.

We needed a new mattress and I have osteoarthritis of my back and neck. I also snore badly (according to my wife). The mattress is very comfortable and apparently my snoring is markedly reduced (we also got tempurpedic pillows).

My wife loves this bed. I, on the other hand, have had a broken back when I was younger, and I feel no difference sleeping on this bed or a regular mattress. Both of them have the same effect - I still wake up in the morning with an aching back. If you are buying one of these thinking it will help your back, maybe you better investigate further. My wife is opposite of me. She loves the bed and is very happy with it. She even bought one of the pillows to match.

I have always had problems sleeping comfortably on a regular mattress. This mattress molds to my body and I find that I am able to sleep for longer periods without waking up. Worth the money!
