[$] is a bit to pay for one inflatable pool toy. That said...we spent the day in the pool enjoying the thing. With only one boat one cannot play bumper boats but one can tool around the pool and launch the boat with swim jets. I have no idea how durable this thing will be long term but it seems sturdy enough. The good thing was that it came with its own inflater and hardware for assembly. So if you are headed to the lake just take the box, everything that you will need is included. I'm about to order a second boat. Assuming these last anytime at all this will be worth the money. Kids love ANYTHING they can drive. This doesn't go fast but that's a good thing otherwise it might be an irritant for others in the pool. It's about right for speed in consideration of other pool users. The box says weight limit 200 lbs but my husband weighs 220 and he was on it...no problem. Word of caution when getting on the thing...get someone to hold it steady, especially for adults. It tends to flip as one tries to get into the seat. At one point we almost had a head go crashing into the pool stairs. It's easy to avoid this by moving away from stairs and by having someone hold the boat steady until the driver is centered in the seat. Once a rider has gotten on once or twice they figure out how to do it. We noticed the flipping problem more with adults than children. On a scale of 1-10 for pool accessories, with 10 being the greatest thing since sliced bread, I would rate this a 9! ENJOY!!!

I thought it was hard to put together, and it really does go so slow, that it's just for relaxing. It's not really "fun."

Conceptually its a great idea- a motorized pool float - esp interesting given a non swimmer in the householdbut the motor was very hard to connect, it made the boat unstable leaving it prone to flip over easily-- sort of undoing any value the boat/float offered to the non swimmer! Plus it hurt to watch the price fall from [$] to [$] in mere months
Very good item, kids love it.
