The glow in the dark bocce ball set (LED) is very cool. It was easy to play for adults and my 7 and 4 year old kids. It is just so unusual and unique. And, we can play it at night in our yard, so we had a lot of fun. The only problem was that not all of the balls lit up. The ones that worked, worked well, but several did not or stopped working.[...] If this one works, I would say it's a good gift - very unique and fun. Something very different!

really cool to play at night but we had trouble keeping the lights on. also to turn them off you have to put the small piece of plastic back in between batteries or take batteries out. would be much better to have some kind of switch. all in all we had fun playing with them.

There were twelve of us at a July 4th family cookout. I brought my unopened Bocce set on the chance that we could engender some enthusiasm for a game only one of us had ever played. As it turned out, the rules are easy to learn, the set-up time is immediate, the competitiveness contagious and the LED's let us play well into the darkness. My brother-in-law had so much fun that he ordered his own Bocce set the next day. He's been practicing and thinks he'll beat me next time we play.
We'll see about that.

We have had a lot of fun with these this summer, especially when night falls at our BBQ's we are still able to play!

These bocce balls work great when it is getting late. Our bocce games usually last into the dark, so these balls have come in handy when the sun goes down.

To assemble the bocce ball set, you have to unscrew each ball and remove the plastic from the batteries. This takes quite a bit of time. To turn the balls on you actually have to slam them onto a hard surface, which is not quite what I expected when I purchased this set. Overall it is satisfactory, [...]

The Balls blink and they tend to get a little obnoxious, and the spring on the in side is really flimbsy, one of my balls also doesn't screw back in all the way, I think it was cross threaded at the factory or where ever their manufactured.
So fun!
Will enjoy for hours in the summer - long past sundown.
