I gave this to my husband for fathers day. He has a group of friends who have been playing for years and they had never used real chips. This set looks great and seems so durable. He loves it.

In the old days things were made of steel & wood and they lasted. This item is made very well and has a quality feel to it. It's a beautiful set well worth the money.
Exactly what I was looking for

The only downside was we didn't realize how heavy it would be. [...] Well worth it, though.

Purchased as a gift, I found this set to be attractive and very complete. However, it was extremely heavy. The person to whom it was given was really delighted. They have small personal poker nights with friends on a regular basis and it will be well used!

Beautifully put together, if only it had the complete set of chips. Some were missing from our case but it appeared that it hadn't been opened so it must have been a mis-count when it was assembled.

The chips are great, but nothing else is. The case is very attractive, but useless. Oftentimes it wont close all the way, and the first time I bought it one of the clasps broke. Had to return it.
If you want a good ammount of chips, its still a great buy. You can also store them in the case, but dont expect to be able to carry them around like a briefcase...unless of course you want to share your new poker chips with the world.

The chips are excellent quality, but the hinges are not very durable. I wish this attractive wooden box is as good quality as the chips.
Nice chips --- not such a great case :(

These poker chips are actually quite nice. The whole kit is quite heavy since the chips have good weight themselves. The only downer was that the clasps on the case are cheap. The locking pin on one of the clasps fell out first time I opened the clasp. I would not be surprised if this case opens while being carries and the chips go everywhere. Shame that an otherwise great product suffers from one cheap, underspecified component.
