We bought this to cover a pool heater.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fabric for the price, and were happy to find it has velcro fasteners on two sides. We had thought we'd have to modify the cover to accomodate the pipes going into the heater, but it wasn't necessary - a perfect fit.

The cover worked nicely, but I live in a region that can have strong winds. In mid-winter the cover blew off never to be found again. A bungee cord around the perimeter or rope would have held it in place.

This cover fits my 4-ton freon based Trane air conditioner nicely. Durable material, nice khaki color that blends in with my beige colored stucco wall perfectly. The only major down side is that on the newer version of these covers, there're velros on the sides(they're probably there so that it's easier to put on the cover ). However, rain can easily sips in through the velcro seams.

I like this cover that it has velco on the middle and corner so it is flexible as to the type of compressor you have. It's waterproof with cotton layer inside, probably help against snow and ice a bit. But it comes a bit short - doesn't wrap all the way down. I wish it is taller.

The description never mentioned that there was a slit up the middle of one of the side panels. This slit is held together with Velcro and is to accommodate the tubing and electrical connections coming out of the A/C unit. This was a great feature. Unfortunately, my A/C unit's tubing and electrical connections come out of the corner of my unit and I couldn't use this cover. Fortunately, my brother could use it.

This is the same great fabric and design as the patio furniture covers I purchased. However, I have an older A/C unit that apparently is not a standard size, so the cover is a bit large. Rather than send it back and search for the right size, I just installed it and put an extra tie around it to keep it secure. If your unit is standard size you shouldn't have any problems.

[...] the design engineers may have dropped the ball on this one. This cover would have been great, if the piping and electric that comes out of our unit was positioned on the base of the unit. Our "stuff" is midway up the unit..so guess what? As you pull the cover over the unit, it cannot go all the way down. I made some "Adjustments" with a box cutter, but just be warned.

We have this on our outdoor air conditioner. It fits well; my only concern is the elastic feels loose, like it may rip off. No damage so far, though, and we've had it on about a month. Winter will be the real test...

I bought covers for two (central) A/C units. One unit is too tall for the cover (the bottom of the A/C is exposed with the cover in place) and the other is too small (the cover hangs below the bottom, and will likely balloon in the wind.) However, I was quite pleased with the quality of the covers.

Good fit and color, newer high efficient AC are taller,
I have had this cover for over two years now and it has endured the harsh New England winters quite well.
The best part about this product is the 2 niffty side seams which close with Velcro. This makes putting them on a snap and they are ensured to fit. Great idea!
