31 ½" x 21".
I thought the game was excellent. Just a bit smaller by 3 inches than the standard game board, but as far as quality goes, this is excellent quality and it gives both the offense and defense the opportunity to change the speed of the game which for an expert player, I loved it. If they build the game a little larger it would far exceed the games that electric football players currently play on.
Our 16 yr. old son asked for this Christmas and loves it!
I bought this for my husband for his 35th birthday. He was talking about this game all year long because it reminded him of his youth. I finally found it here and decided to buy it even though it was a bit pricey. When he opened it, my 3 1/2 year old son wanted to play it immediately. They spent a good hour playing the game and having fun making up their own types of games since my son can't quite play by the rules yet. I'm glad I got it since it gives them something fun to do together. He can't quite figure out how the 360 degree players actually work but it's fun anyway.
I had a version of this game in the 1960's that was "DERBY HORSE RACING". I would love to see that version again. My cousin had the "PRO FOOTBALL GAME" version. Both held up well but required a large table or floor space to be play comfortably. It was not easy to store but had a good finish. The metal edges tended to get "dents" but this new version is much sturdier.
