I initially bought this for a friend, but decided to get one for myself, as well. My friend loved it, but the magnetic feature wouldn't work on her stainless steel fridge. However, it does come with mounting brackets to use on a wall. The magnets work like a dream on my white fridge. They are extremelty strong and I never feel as if it isn't secure. It is so handy to have to keep things nearby, like coupons or take-out menus. And the chalkboard is great for short notes. I love it.
