This is so convenient and easy to use; we love it! We first used one while cruising on a friend's boat to Mexico. It was great because we all got up at different times, and some people drank decaf while others drank real coffee. This little brewer was perfect for a hot cup of coffee for each one of us on demand. I am the only coffee drinker in the family and I only drink one cup a day. Until I found this wonderful single cup maker, I was making four cups a day and throwing out most of it - what a waste! It was either that or go to Starbucks every day. Anyway, I looked at single cup coffee makers in the stores, but all I found were the pod coffee makers that run about [$]and up and require that you use their pod coffee. (I didn't want to stop using my favorite kind. ) Sooooo, when I stumbled across this jewel I was thrilled. It's perfect. No more waste and it's small enough to leave out on the counter top all the time. I highly recommend this item to the single cup coffee drinkers!!!

I love that this coffee machine is so simple and easy to clean up. It makes a hot cup of coffee, and it's compact and easy to store on the countertop without taking up a lot of room. It's true that the cup of coffee isn't too large, but it's just the right amount of coffee for me.
I love this unit for work. Makes super quick coffee and quite strong. Very easy to use and clean. The only downfall is that about half the time the dripping coffee runs to the edge of the unit and runs down the outside of the coffee cup lending itself to a nice puddle to cleanup. I don't know how to fix this problem. Have tried everything and 'yes' the table is level.

If possible, take this with me when I deploy; as long as we have power (and a converter), I've got a great cup of coffee (and a little taste of home). Held up very well to lots of abuse.

I use this coffemaker several times a day. It looks great, and makes good coffee. My only complaint is that occasionally it spills coffee on the counter.

When I travel I have always packed a 4 cup coffee maker as I do not want to use the one in most hotel rooms (dirty, etc...). This is perfect! It takes very little room and makes great coffee! If you travel you need this in your suitcase! I might get another one for my office!

It would have been nice if a 12oz disposable cup would have fit in the dispenser. I don't like to take the cup home from the office every weekend to run it through the dishwasher. I bought "coffee pods" - small coffee & filter combination to eliminate the mess of loose coffee grounds for ease of cleaning. For the small one-cup size, it makes a pretty good cup of coffee - fast, too! Overall, very pleased.

I returned one of those pod makers because it made terrible coffee. This maker makes rich coffee and the cup with the travel top keeps it hot. This is perfect for my cubicle. I'm very happy and wide-awake at work now. Also, those pods (not the cups) fit in the permanent filter.

It works so good I often find myself making a second cup. [...] Recommend that the purchase do like I did get a case of filters at the same time you order your coffee pot. Filters make it easy to keep pot clean.

Easy to operate, and the included cup has good insulation, but it can't be used with any cup which will fit in a car cup holder. Fine for home use.

Everything about my previous Coffee pot is good shape. The ON switch Died. I will give Brookstone another try with a New similar unit. Can I get my former unit fixed? Great idea, nice, stylish product. I was just disappointed that the mug size was not larger. I am a one cup drinker, but I like a large mug of coffee or tea. This is an average small cup size.

I am thrilled with my single cup coffee maker! It's perfect when you
want just one cup of fresh coffee, and you want it fast! It makes very
good coffee, unlike many drip coffee makers which produce a weak,
watery brew regardless of what coffee you use. Although I use it at
home, it's small and attractive and would fit in very well at the office.
We use a Capresso on a regular basis and the coffee from this single
cup coffee maker tastes almost as good!

Can rinse out the filter, refill with water and coffee at bedtime and have a hot cup waiting two minutes after you turn it on.

This coffemaker is incredibly stylish compared to other single cup coffee makers that I have seen on the market. It meets my needs at the office and works efficiently. However, the cup wouldn't fit into my car cupholder. Luckily, I keep the entire unit at my office.

Much to my surprise this coffee maker makes a GREAT cup of coffee. I no longer waste a pot of coffee by leaving it behind when I go off to work. Now I make a cup and have it with breakfast and make another cup to go. It's easy to make and I love using fresh grinds and not having to use a pod although you can if that is what you prefer.
