We absolutely LOVE this hammock... We have it set up on our Lanai by the pool (screened-in back porch for you Yankees) to enjoy year round & not be eaten alive by mosquitos. We can lay back & watch birds flying overhead or count stars in the sky... The quilted weaving is extremely comfortable and paired with a pillow, my husband will sleep for hours. Our cats love to lay in its shadow & as soon as they get over the swing effect I'm sure we'll be plucking them out so that we can get in!! Oh yah, the fact that it wasn't made in China is an added bonus!!!

I was a little hesitant to spend this much on a hammock, but my husband had been wanting one and I didn't want to get something really cheap that would only last one season. [...] so I went for it. I am glad I did, because I actually like using it too! The best thing about this hammock is that you don't get wrapped up in it and get those marks on your legs from the ropes. I never thought that hammocks were very comfortable, but this one is! The dog can even jump up and relax with you, and we don't have kids, but there is plenty of room for a child to join you - very roomy. We put it in the shade, which I highly recommend. I guarantee you will not regret this purchase - and believe me I am very picky!P.S. Mounting was also easy. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten bolts into two trees and you won't need the stand. You can also remove it easily to take it down if a storm rolls in. We usually leave it up unless it is really going to pour and it is holding up very well.

I had the rope hammock originally but because it was left outside, some of the ropes began to tear. I live in Texas and the weather can be very harsh sometimes so it was my own fault. I decided to try the quilted hammock because it looked comfortable and it is! I love to just lie down and relax after work.

This is such a comfortable hammock! It feels very cushiony, but still lets the air flow through, so it doesn't get too hot in the warmer weather. Great addition to my deck!

We have this hammock on a porch at our beach house. It is more comfortable than rope hammocks. However, the pillow that comes with it is too thick for my neck to be comfortable.
