This is a great mattress -- I finally can get a good night's sleep without waking up achy.
I really do love my Tempurpedic. I tested all the models, but the Symphony turned out to be what I needed.
About the smell, I kind of liked it. I miss it now that it's gone. I think I just associated it with the joy of knowing how nicely I am going to sleeping for the rest of my life.

I used to buy cheap [$] mattress throughout college years etc, but I used a tempur pedic pillow. After the great experience with the pillow, I thought it's the perfect time to try the mattress!The Symphony mattress absolutely lived up to my expectations. It was one of the more basic models but yet it works like a dream. I like mattress on the firm side with support, and this mattress system definitely delivered on that. [...].I've read that some people found the tempur material's odor an annoyance, but it's truly a non issue for me. The first day, you could tell, but after a few days, no odor at all. The low profile foundation works great and is a must have if you want your mattress to be perfect for years to come.

Got this a almost two years ago and I don't like sleeping in anyone else's bed anymore! I've always had back problems, and this has helped soooooo much! I don't wake up stiff and sore. The other person in the bed's movements don't disturb you, getting in or out or tossing. And I actually stay in one position most of the night, and don't wake up all night to reposition and get comfortable.

We got this bed knowing that it would not be ordinary. But simply put, you cannot beat their 90-day in home trial - you should try it and see for yourself. I wish we went with the next level up model, as I think that one is softer. It definately is a nice experience, but I think it's too firm, and I don't get the feeling like it's luxurious and super comfortable, it's just comfortable.

If you are serious about your sleep, get this sleep system. It is superior to a regular mattress. It is just as they say in the commercial.

I got the Tempur-Pedic when 8 months pregnant. The mattress made a huge difference in how well I slept and how I felt when I woke up. It has definitely decreased my back/leg pain and allows me to sleep well. My husband and I like the way we are both cradled according to our body. Simple mattress that really improves sleep.
The only thing I did not like was when the mattress arrived new. It had a chemical-like odor to it. After a few days, the odor went away. I would suggest that when you get the mattress, you let it air out for a week and then use it. Otherwise, no complaints.
