this is got to be one of the best gadgets out there. I rely on it to pick my clothes in the morning, and most of the time its accurate. Now I don't have to turn up my PC and check the weather online. Its wireless and you don't have to put a temperature sensor outside.. so convient.

The Weathercast Alarm Clock 5-Day Wireless Weather Forecaster is always accurate. I've found it to be more reliable then the local news in predicting weather conditions. I also found it easy to set and plan to take it with me when I travel as it will adjust to wherever I'm geographically located. It is great to get up each morning and get an accurate weather report. I don't even need to turn on the television anymore to find out what my day will be like.

I purchased this clock for my husband for Christmas. He is one of those people that has everything, so he's very difficult to buy for. At first, he didn't realize everything the clock did, so I pulled it out of the box and set everything up for him. The directions were very simple, which I was grateful for because I'm not a "techie." My husband LOVES this gift! He has never been so thrilled with a Christmas gift. As a woman, I don't love the design. It's super slim, only has one position setting, and is a dull silver/gray color that doesn't really match our bedroom decor, but it's small and isn't obtrusive in the room. The only other con, my husband constantly informing me of the weather forecast! It will be great to take to the beach this summer since we have a boat and need reliable weather information before deciding whether or not we want to go out in the bay or not. Great gift!

I live about 24 miles east of Cleveland. Because of lake effect weather where I live, our weather could be completely different from Cleveland. I am not able to access weather for any of the cities along the lake or east of Cleveland. It is limited to only the "big" cities in our area, i.e. Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown.

PROS

Exceedingly easy setup. Install batteries. Place in a window. Wait 15 minutes and its running.

CONS

I was surprised given that this unit receives both broadcasted time and weather for 5 days, that dates are not displayed, either for the current date or the forecast. This is just poor design, as the information certainly must be available.

The daily forecast (high and low) don't always agree with the current temperature. For example last week the current temperature was 5F and the daily forecast said 25/35F.

WISHES

It would be nice to add the full text weather forecast for the current day. Other units on the market have this, albeit not with the 5 day forecast.
