Our Magic Message™ Alarm Clock uses a rapidly moving wand to “float” a continuous message right before your eyes. It displays the time, day, date or your own custom messages. Create up to four of your own messages (200 characters in total)—a greeting, a reminder, whatever you desire. You can even program your personal messages to appear daily or on specific dates, such as birthdays or anniversaries. The clock is also pre-programmed with many everyday and yearly messages, such as Good Morning, Good Evening, Happy Father’s Day and Happy New Year. Quartz-controlled microcomputer ensures exceptional accuracy. Includes alarm clock functions with snooze bar.

I love this clock....but the one drawback as far as I can see is that you can't delete the programmed messages. Directions for this are very unclear, actually, non excistent. I just purchased today, but unless I can figure this out, it will be going back on Monday.

I just received the clock as a gift from my sons for fathers day. It was easy to st up and I am mystified on how the vibrating wand produces writing in the air. Sometimes the writing isn't totally clear and can make you dizzy. I put it on my nightstand and turned on the alarm. Unless you wear eye shades i don't recommend you put it in the bedroom. It is too bright. Tonight I will put it in the tv room where all guests will be able to see it.

I Really like this prouduct. It is bright to have in a bedroom, but once you fall asleep you don't notice it. It has a good size to see in the dark. it isn't the cheapest thing, but it is worth $50.00 (not [$]) It is the best clock ever. it probably isn't as durable as the Infoglobe. it is the best clock ever!

There are a few things wrong with this clock. The big thing is I used it at my bedside and it was WAY to bright. Also, if you look at it for the time in the middle of the night, you are so used to the dark, it is like looking at the sun. One more thing is that the legs on the bottom werent totally flat so the clock shook noisily. I just put a peice of an index card under one of the legs and fixed that. It might have just been the surface I had it on. Number three. There is no battery backup. It's not super-important but I would expect that feature being a Brookstone product. This clock is great if you aren't using it in bed. I had no other use for it so I actually took it back to the store. I really didn't want to since I have wanted it since I was like 2. It's a shame.

Good, but image is deceptive!

I'm disappointed that the image on the box, shows a time display with "hours & minutes", however the actual display of time includes the "seconds" and there isn't an option to select the display shown on the box...this makes it difficult to read.
