Waking up with this Alarm clock is the greatest because it has nice big numbers and you can see what the tempature is outside before you get out of bed!!

This is a solid product unless something goes wrong. Recently, after about five years, the clock lost the ability to communicate with the remote thermometer and there is no where to go for help. [...] I changed all batteries, reset both units and it eventually started working again...I guess after five years I shouldn't complain.

This is almost the perfect alarm clock. Takes up very little table space. Very accurate weather station. The wall projection is much sharper/clearer than others I've seen. My only complaint is that there is only one alarm setting. However, for someone who gets up at the same time every day, it doesn't get better.

Loses ceiling display. Replaced batteries still loses ceiling display. Indoor temp is 7 deg high, as evidenced by transmitter in same room and standard spring thermometers. I like the product idea if reliable. I miss it.

I purchased this clock for my husband. He works outdoors, so he refers to the clock to check the weather for the next day and it is usually accurate. Our grandkids like watching the screen if it is snowing or raining...because you see snowflakes or raindrops. This is the 2nd one I have purchased him...the first one lasted only a few years. We enjoy being able to see the time at night as well on our ceiling.

I have gone through 3 different projection clocks, and I have found this one to be the best out of all of them. I have poor eye sight, so I need something easy to read. The projected time and temperature are easy to see with my 20/200 vision.
I like the fact that you can choose to show internal or external temperature (which I leave for external). Although it doesn't happen too often, I find that the temperature signal is sometimes lost from 40 feet away, which I believe is rated for 90 feet (assuming no obstructions).
When setting the clock or alarm, it has audible beeps (which I don't believe can be disabled). If I go to bed prior to my wife and then she comes in later to set the alarm, it's loud enough to wake me up.
The illuminated display on the clock itself is easy to read, however there is no setting (that I am aware of) to leave this on. It will only come on for a few seconds when hitting the appropriate button. I would not want to keep this on, but I bought this for another family member and they wish that was an option.
Lastly, the weather markers (sun, clouds, rain, etc) displayed are constantly wrong. these icons are not displayed in the projection, but frankly as long as I know the temperature outside, I am happy.
While I listed several cons in this review, I want to make it clear that the favorable projected display well outweighs any of the issues I have with the clock. I love this thing, and can't see going back to any other clock!

I like it very well because at a quick glimpse I am able to see the time and temp anytime that I wake during the night!!!

I use it in the bedroom as an alarm clock it also shows me what the temperature is outside so I know how to dress in the morning without going outside.
The thing sits by the tv. We can tell what the temp is outside or in. We love it.

The two things we love most about this clock are:
1. The projection of the time and temperature on the ceiling. This means that, when I wake up, I don't have to sit up to look around my husband to see what time it is; and if the temperature is too cold, I just snuggle back into bed.
2. The fact that the time syncs with the national atomic clock - means that I never have to check to see if it's accurate.

I really enjoy this product. It makes learning the time during the middle of the night very easy! However, of late, the projected image does not reflect the time and I have to turn to the main face to determine time.

It's great to be able to see the time and temperature in the middle of the night without having to strain to find/see the nightstand clock. Having the projection on the ceiling is very convenient. I have given this as a gift and received rave reviews.

I purchased this for my husband a few years ago. We put the remote in the windowsill and so far it has been "weather resistant" The temperature never projected on the ceiling but showed on the clock. After having it for 2 yrs my toddler dropped it and the temp started displaying. ;) Recently it stopped projecting, lightbulb blew or something. Clock is really annoying with no projection since you have to push a button at night to see what time it is. The ceiling projection is hard to get used to, but once you do, its addicting.

I USE IN OUR BEDROOM. SINCE I AM A PERSON WHO WAKES UP A LOT DURING THE NIGHT IT IS PERFECT FOR ME TO SEE AND READ. FOR YEARS PEOPLE HAVE CALLED ME "THE WEATHERMAN" SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW MUCH I ENJOY YOUR PRODUCT.

We have purchased this clock for our bedroom in our main and vacation homes. It's great to have the time and temperature both projected onto the ceiling. My husband inadvertently bought a different replacement projection clock and was very disappointed it did not have the temperature feature. This was the number one item on his Christmas list. He's a bit technically challenged, and this clock is easy to set up and use. We absolutely love it.

I purchase one of these 2 to 3 years ago and it worked great until the remote device got wet. It is not water proof. My husband tried and tried to get it to work again, it is his favorite clock. It would be nice if it was water proof since it goes outside. It would also be nice if you could purchase one separate too.

I purchased one of these 2 to 3 years ago and it worked great, my husbands favorite clock. Then the outdoor divice for the temperature got wet and quit working. He tried everything to get it going again. I purchased another one just for the outdoor device. My only complaint is that it is not water proof and should be since it has to be outside for the temperature. It would be nice if you could purchase them seperate also.

clock ok; outdoor temp ok; and reflects on ceiling; indoor temp reads 9 deg high and does not alternate or reflect on ceiling.I can't find any adjustment to correct the variation.

I love this clock! Have had it for 8 years and the only thing wrong is that the remote reciently bit the dust. It's great to see the time and outside temp on those cold and warm nights. Well worth the money.

I purchased this for my husband quite a few years ago. The poor old remote has withstood blizzards, hurricanes and the likes but just kept on going for years sitting on my outside window sill! The remote finally failed after years of use and I am happily looking for a replacement. It is the one thing my husband wants. I love waking up, looking up and seeing how I must dress for the day.

We use this in the theater room. We can have the clock aimed right at the screen and when the picture comes on the light fades so you can't see the time until you want too.
One of those little things that makes the perfect gift.

Great Clock! I have had this now for 7 years with no problem. I just had the transmitter go bad recently and I am checking to see if I can purchase just another transmitter. If not I will buy another set with no regrets. I can't complain after 7 years outside in the elements.
