Our travel alarm clock stays lit all night for easy viewing. Once you set the alarm on our multi-featured travel clock, a muted white backlight glows all night long, keeping time visible in the dark. The backlight shuts off when you deactivate the alarm to conserve battery power. The snooze bar activates a bright amber backlight. And the handy QuickSet function lets you adjust the alarm, time, day and date with just one finger. Uses three AAA batteries (not included).

I bought this battery powered alarm clock specifically for cruise ship travel where the room is dark and I needed the time readable all night without trying to locate the clock to push a light button. Plug in clocks do not keep accurate time on ships as current is not reliable. I also liked that it was easy to see what time alarm was set.

I've wanted a battery operated clock that lights at night w/o having to hit it (how can you see it in the dark to hit it to light it up?). This is the first I've come across. It does the trick. I'd like to see a bit more contrast in the lighting, but still it works. However the "on all the time" mode is only activated when you've set an alarm. But the upside of that is that if you look over to see if you've set the alarm you can see instantly, because the light will be on. Seems sturdy. The rubber wrap around the face may prove to be not long lasting, hard to tell. Overall I like this clock.
