I use this for waching movies and playing video games. Easily comfortable for long periods at a time. Oustanding sound for 2 small speaker and hardly unnoticed subbie. I always look at edges of things to see what the quality is like. A good product has clean crisp edges where it is finished- This is one of those. Only gave 4 stars because i find that when i hook up the headphones you dont get very good output, other than that, love the chair.

I really liked the style of the chair and the fact that its on a pedistal rather than just on the floor. Everything works as expected. Little concerned about the overall durability of the arms if anybody gets too enthusiastic when playing a game. Overall I am very satified with it.

Game Audio Xplosion!
By CrazyRalph023Verified Reviewer from Hamden, CT on 4/29/2008
Pros:
Great Sound Quality, Immersive, Powerful
Cons:
Difficult To Set Up
Best Uses:
Smaller Rooms
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The XRocker chair makes you really feel like your in the game. The subwoofer on the bottom and the speakers in the back add powerful sound to your video game experience.

Design is a little bit clunky, and somewhat awkward if you are a bigger person, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

If you are looking for an immersive and incredibly audible game experience, look no further.

By DadVerified Reviewer from Nashua, NH on 4/25/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Easy To Connect, Great Sound Quality, Powerful
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The X-Rocker is amazing. My son has a surround system in his room but this system brings all the sound right to his ears. He says he hears things that he never heard before. I listened in while he played, "Halo". The sound and especially the explosions sounded as if it were happening right in the room. It is a great product for the gamer in your house or for yourself. Thanks!!

Pros:
Attractive Design, Easy To Connect, Great Sound Quality, Powerful
Cons:
Comfort
Best Uses:
Larger Rooms
Describe Yourself:
Tech Savvy
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this chair for my kids to play video games and watch TV. After the easy set up I tried it out and I use it more than my kids. The sound quality is out-standing. There are only two things I would change. One is the chair is a little hard we wish it was more comfortable. The second thing is it is very low to the ground. I did modify it to where I can now raise and lower it as I like. The last thing I would like to say is we ordered this chair in December and did not receive it until mid February. This chair was well worth the wait and would recommend this chair to every one

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my husband. We have a PS2 on our sunporch. He had it set up by noon on Christmas, and has used it every day since! You hear new sounds, especially around and behind you. It's large enough to be comfortable, and small enough to put out of the way if needed.

My son loves the chair. He connects his ipod which sounds great through speakers. Only drawback is that it doesn't come with the adapter wires so ours from another system is short and the ipod just dangles. By flipping up the arms he can play his guitar comfortably.

Pros:
Attractive Design, Compact, Easy To Connect, Great Sound Quality, Powerful
Describe Yourself:
Tech Savvy
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is a good-looking, sturdy and attractive chair at a competitive price. It was relatively easy to assemble and connect, although I was unable to get the wireless going on my first pass. Aside from that, my ony criticism is that the arms are relatively feeble. They're made of a plastic alloy, and are not steel like the photo might suggest. The base, however, is metal. The chair is comfortable and the sound system is impressive for gamers and couch potatoes alike. All in all, I'd recommend it.
