While the online ordered Digital Frame didn't work, the one we exchanged at a Brookstone Store, is a fantastic product.

Very easy to use, great picture quality. Didn't store as many photos as promised.
I purchased this for a special birthday gift for my son-in-law, a photographer nut. He is very pleased with it, and has it prominently displayed in his conference room. He tells me he has had complimentary comments daily, from his clients as well as staff. I am very pleased I chose this selection.

all this needs is to be a bit more substantial in its construction and it would be just right
bought 2 for grandparents and 1 for son who is overseas....tehy can have in their home/family room and see "long distance" relatives
We used our Digital Frame at a recent party to show old photos of the "Birthday boy"; then took more photos at the party, slipped in the memory chip, and everyone could see themselves having a good time!
Gift idea
One of my best Christmas gifts. My husband loaded all of our family photos on a USB memory stick and I just plugged into the picture frame and there were my pictures. They look great!
We bought this frame(based on strong reviews here)for my in-laws, as what seemed an inspired way to keep them up to date on the family, but we have yet to present it to them because of challenges we've encountered in setting it up. The first frame came with a faulty pixel, so we had to exchange it. With the second one, transferring photos from a memory card was a cinch, but most of our photos reside on our desktop and tranferring them has been the problem -- the memory fills very quickly unless you resize large files. Unless we have a faulty unit again, we've reached "memory full" with just a few dozen photos, rather than the "up to 1,000" noted on the box, so I've had to laboriously open and resize photo after photo. I still think the frame holds promise, and I'm hoping my problems with it are atypical, but so far it hasn't been the simple-to-use item I was expecting!
We keep the frame in our kitchen/dining area & enjoy a constant display of recent photos/holiday photos/vacations. The kids love adding new photos.
Great for easy photo display.
A great way to show off the photos, very dynamic
My boyfriend loves this gift. He gets to see more of the things he's interested in on a regular basis
I have several digital photo frames in my home and this one is by far the best. The screen is clear and vivid and viewable from many angles, which is an important point to consider. The frame is also easy to operate. I just popped in a compact flash card and I was off and running in no time flat. If you are looking for a digital frame, I highly recommend this one.

We bought 3 for gifts. Unfortunately one didn't work. Figured it was a fluke so will exchange it. Otherwise a wonderful product that's easy to use and offers lots of options.
I gave this to my husband for Christmas. It was so easy to use he promptly loaded it and had it out for people to see at our New Year's party. It was a big hit among people who came to our house and were able to see all the pictures. Probably my biggest concern in purchasing this was the picture clarity. Well, the picture clarity is outstanding!
We both love it! Very happy with my purchase decision.
It is the focal point of my office
While I am At my desk I have a constant stream of my children's pictures .
I love to show my friends all my pictures without the hassle of keeping up with paper photos. Everyone comments on the clarity of the pictures.
Is a very calming experience to see the photos of family and friends pass by when you cannot be around them all the time.
Love this digital frame! Handsome frame, lots of photos, eliminates the need for multiple frames in an office!
This is a great digital frame! Beautiful resolution, handsome frame for my workspace and it holds so many photos; I just wish that the portrait/landscape set-up could be preserved once you shut the frame down.
It is a conversational piece; everyone that saw the slide shows mentioned that they would like a digital photo frame either for themselves, or as a gift for a family member with whom the wanted to share special events, moments, etc.
Bpought this for my Mom and Dad for Christmas. They loved it! The picture quality is very good and it's easy enough for my Dad to use.
I gave this frame as a gift and was most pleased. The owner was able to install photos asap and we could all see them immediately and for the whole time they were with us due to the electric cord provided. They really liked it and I felt good about my gift to them.
NO REMOTE CONTROL.
USE FOR DIGITAL PHOTOS
NICE TO BE ABLE TO SEE A BUNCH OF PHOTOS
GOOD LIGHTING
CLEAR PICTURES
SIZED FOR THE FRAME
This is the first such product I have purchased - a Christmas present for my wife. She loves the way she can see so many pictures using the built-in slideshow! I am impressed by the unit - it looks better than many I have seen.
I like this product
Excellent digital frame with great expandability. The product works exactly as advertised and presents a high quality picture. It's easy to load photos to its internal memory as well as using a variety of commonly-found cards (CompactFlash, SD, etc.) It looks great too - the replacable frames are a very nice touch. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase.
I bought this for my mother in law as a Christmas gift. I was surprised at how easy it was to load the pictures. The picture quality is superb and it is very easy to use.
Easy to use, high quality frame allows efficient display of pictures
I like this product, it displays a lot of pictures on a fairly good screen. However, like all technological toys, this one requires you to do some work to use it most effectively. And like most technological toy manufacturers, Brookstone assumes you know something about the technology and doesn't tell you what you would like to know. The manual is not as thorough as the one that is online. So, go to the support section and get the pdf manual.
For those who are complaining about the amount of pictures the frame displays, I think I know what the problem is. Read on for my solution.
The screen (according to the pdf manual) is 640 by 480 pixels (~300 kpixels), therefore you probably want to compress your pictures before downloading to the frame. I took an image that was 2 Mbytes, reduced it to 67 kbytes and sent both to the frame. I noticed very little difference. So, the message here is that I could have 64 large files or 1,000 small files transferred to the frame - a significant difference in the amount of photos I can display. And if you use a large memory card, you probably don't have to compress the images.
If you don't want to spend a lot of time in front of your PC editing pictures, you can reduce the quality setting on your digital camera, but remember that the quality will be reduced for all displays. What many folks do when confronted by these situations is to go find some teenager who has the patience to figure this out and then tell you how to do it. Different software packages do things differently, so you may have to buy something to reduce the images. Then you have the software to do a lot more processing and take up more of your free time!
Displaying our 3 year old grandson to all.
Enjoy it greatly.
The product is displayed where everyone in the family room can view it. It has all family photos and when my siblings and there families came over, they could not stop watching to see what would appear next. The product should either have a random setting and/or be able to move the photo order around. I changed the order on the folder that pops up when you hook it to the computer. The order changed in the folder, but not the product. Maybe I did something wrong, but I doubt it. Whatever order I put them in, that is the order it remained.
Unit would only load 1 of 4 different Sony Memory Sticks we tried to load. All sticks had pictures on them. Unit loaded fine from an external pen drive, however. Unit controls are "touchy" - especially the copy command. You have to press it "just right" to get copy-all to run. Biggest deficiency is not being able to sequence the pictures once they're loaded onto the unit (since they seem to load in a random order). Would be nice to have an edit screen where you could re-order the picture sequence.
Easy to use a great visual quality
Got this to use while giving sales presentations. Ease of use was very important & this is very simple to use.
pictures are easy to load and look very clear.
you can take a pictur on your digital and 1 second later have it loaded in your frame to display. Very nice!
It was a gift for my daughter....she loves it!
this frame is so easy to use and the pictures are really clear.
Overall this is a solid product and leaves the competition behind. It is easy to set up and use. I was only able to transfer ~80 photos before it reached capacity. I don't see how they can make the claim that it can hold "up to 1000 photos". Since it won't run from a mem stick AND it's own 128MB storage I don't know how to go beyond what I've installed thus far. Could be I'm missing something here. If not, it's good for 80 pics and shows them well.
The was soo easy to set up. The images are very clear. we love this frame.
This was given to my husband and I as a Christmas gift. What a gift! We absolutely love it! It is easy to use, goes great with our home decor and the best part is it displays our favorite pictures!
I like the slideshow best. We prefer using a flash drive, but love that it has an internal memory that would allow us to copy the pics to the unit. I will say that even after reading the directions on how to copy pictures we still had a hard time getting the feature to work; basically you cannot go from slideshow to copying pics without turning the unit off and starting from the main screen.
I really don't have any complaints, the quality of the picture is great, color is true and we are enjoying it immensely!
This was a gift to my 89 year old mother. As such it brings back wonderful memories and has become a highlight of her living room. However it could hold more pictures.
This product was very easy to setup. The picture quality is great! I would definitely recommend.
Great product. Easy to use.
WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT IT COULD NOT OPERATE WITH BATTERIES AND HAD TO BE PLUGGED IN.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to display beautiful pictures. The clarity of the screen is wonderful and the ease of use is well, my mother can set this up and she is tech illiterate.
I've shopped around for a while for one of these, didn't realize the resolution is not listed just says "True Image". I would of liked to know the resolution of the screen because it's really not as clear as I thought it would be, seen some similair priced for less. I have a high quality camera and pictures do not appear to be on screen. I would of bought one less expensive for the same quality.
This is pretty middle of the line as far as digital photo frames go. I bought one and returned it because from close up the pictures looked pixely. The pictures were taken from a 9 megapixel camera, so they should have looked a lot better. They did look fine from farther away.
Another thing that annoyed me was that there was only three settings for display times, with one minute being the longest. It's nice to have pictures displayed for atleast five minutes and I was looking for one which changed pictures once a day.
All in all, you get what you pay for. It was a great price, extremely simple and easy to use, and accepts almost every kind of memory card. It's perfect for someone unfamiliar with computers or technology and is probably fine if it is to be displayed at a distance; not on a desk for example.

Don't get me wrong, my family is pleased with the digital picture frame. While it isn't as nice as viewing photos and videos on a computer display, it is a great way to share family memories with grandparents who don't have computers. We were impressed that it could play slideshows from pictures stored on a memory card. This allows you bypass the internal memory constraints. We were also impressed it could play short *.avi videos with sound.
Here is the feature we felt was missing: it won't play the videos in the slideshow mode. The slideshow mode only shows the first frame of the video as a photo. The videos must be accessed via the menu system. The good news is that it plays videos nicely.
We would have loved the option to select a presentation mode with photos and videos and a mode with videos only in addition to the standard photo only slideshow. It would also be nice to have a mute feature. This way you could have the frame cycle through photos and videos silently.
If this feature had been included, we would have called it perfect.

I have one, it is great. We travel in our motor home, no room to hang pictues. I can immediately look at pictures after a day of sightseeing. I am buying 3 more for christmas and will load family pictures on a chip for each frame. I bought 3 other brands -- one had a cardboard mat, one had no sound and another did not have the clear and bright picture. I took all three back even though they were [$] less expensive.
I purchased this frame for my mom for mother's day. I scanned pictures and the first time, it worked fine. Once unplugged, the frame has issues "rebooting". Since that first time, it has been a challenge getting the photo reader to read the memory stick. The instructions are horrible as they do not have anything related to troubleshooting. Since the product is branded as [...], there is no way to find out troubleshooting options. My recommendation - save your money! If you really want a digital frame, buy a named brand. Donna

I've owned two of these kinds of frames from other companies and they were sort of blurry and didn't look that good. Well this frame is just UNBELIEVABLE....it's so clear and sharp with brilliant colors. Looks like a high definition TV picture.
