I have a 3 yr.old who loves to handle the dvds. As a result, many skip or freeze during play. This device has fixed all that we have run through it! What a savings, not having to replace them. It was very frustrating to watch these movies with all the skips, etc. Also my husband used it on some cds that were skipping and they were fixed also! Easy to use, but could have had bigger bottle of resurfacing fluid.

Being the mom of a 3 year old, it can be stressful sometimes when you go to watch your daughters favorite movie only to find out she put a nasty scratch on it the night before. This is a great product. It has fixed probably 50 cds and dvds in our house that have been "played with" by a four year old. I haven't found one yet that it can't fix. It is easy and fast and works great! The only thing I think is a little annoying is that it doesn't come with its adapter, so it has to use batteries unless you buy a separate adapter.

This is a great item. My kids love to watch DVD and unfortunately they get scratched very easily. This takes out most if not all of the scratches out, except of course for the really deep ones.

It has save every CD/DVD I have asked it too, even though it says it won't repair deep scratches, it did for me on one of my DVD's, thank god it did, I need some tax info which save me a big headache.

My DVD's were skipping and stopping. I put the DVD in the DVD repair system, waited for the machine to stop, replayed the DVD and it didn't skip or stop throughout the whole movie. This product is definitely worth having.

My sons had a few music CD's and a game CD that skipped tracks. After using this product on those CD's, each now works like new. No more skipping. The product has paid for itself already.

What's not included in the directions nor mentioned on your site is that there are two other items that come with this product; a drying/polishing cloth and another item, a thick pad. I use the cloth to dry the cds after I take them out of the unit and follow-up with the thick pad. The latter also helps to 'erase' the marks left by the wheel.
Also, the wheel is warped...it spins with a wiggle. Fortunately it doesn't seem to affect the results. I've done several cds...even run through blank cds I found sitting around that were lightly scratched. All of the cds I've done have improved quality and the blank cds I've done have recorded tracks as if there hadn't been any scratches on them at all.

The DVD Repair System was given to our Son-In-Law as a Christmas Gift. He is a fanatic about his CD and DVD's so we were a little nervous about getting it for him As it turned out he has lent one of his DVD to a friend and it came back scratched. He used the system and has been singing it's praises every since. It really works great and he was thrilled that his DVD was not distroyed. He would recommend it to all.

Our handicapped son lives in a group home. His CD's are often mis-handled and accidentally scratched - this product provides an efficient and cost-effective way to "repair/recover" his favorite CD's. Purchasing replacement CD's sometimes presents a challenge and can also be costly.

This product is great for moms and grandparents because DVD's are bound to get scratched. I did a lot of research for similar products, but could not find one that looked this easy to use. The only down side is that it requires a lot of batteries, and you have to order the adapter separately.

This CD/DVD repair sytem is incredible. Had a CD that I could not listen to the first three tracks because of scratches. Put it in the machine and "viola" it works perfectly now!!!

I have used other CD repair units but they were not very effective. They were also difficult and tedious to use. This unit is fantastic! I repaired 10 CD's in my first use!!!! I easily saved about $150.00 or more in replacement costs. It was easy to use and left a highly polished surface on my old and scratched CD's with little effort on my part. Other units leave polish marks that have to be polished out by hand when they come out of the machine. Don't look any further. You need this unit to repair those unplayable CD's that are laying around the house. The only drawback is that an AC adapter was not included. I hate dealing with batteries.

We have three children under 4, so our cd's and dvd's are constantly under attack - haha. This has been so helpful in repairing damages done to these discs. It is also a money saver in that you don't have to spend a fortune replacing the discs that are your favorites. This product does what they say it will do. Every home with small children should have one of these!!

This product didn't work that well. We tried one game that had a minor scratch and wouldn't play and the DVD doctor did not remove it or make the game able to play. Again, way too much money for something that doesn't work that well.
