I got this item for my father, who has a vision impairment. Quite often, when he goes to a restaurant and needs to read a menu or bill, it can be difficult for him. He can keep this item in his wallet and can use it discreetly to magnify smaller print.
I wouldn't buy this again.

I would have liked it had the light switch worked and that the light didn't remain on permanently. I like the idea of it but it didn't work well and I bought it at an airport so I couldn't take it back.
