I bought this piece of furniture to use with my stereo. I have placed my CD's in the baskets and my stereo on top with speakers down below.
This is a sturdy well made piece of furniture. Assembly was fairly easy for me- I am not great at assembling things but I got this together unassisted(took about 2 hours).
It would be great in an entry way for collecting odds and ends and keeping the out of sight also.

I finally have a place to store take-out menus and things I need to get to quickly. Plus I have a place to put things as I come in the door, plus a bit of extra storage. Only thing I didn't like was having to get someone to assemble it, though it only took about an hour.
