These speakers are small, light and cheap. However, the battery cover can break after a while. You have to be careful with the back of the unit. I bought an extra set when the first one broke, but they are still worth it. I had my first speakers for almost a year, and they went everywhere with me. I used them constantly. A great bargain!

I love this! I have it in pink and my husband has this in black. Just put the iPod in the nicely designed slot and presto! In 2 minutes you'll have a great speaker, small, and stylish!
The great things are that its easy to use, small, an amazing design.

I got this as a gift from my sister I work at a museum and this machine provides quality sound. I use it for everyday and events. I love it I lost the back and yet it still works great !!!

For the price this is an excellent piece of equipment with great sound quality! The volume is controlled on the ipod itself. I only wish it had an adapter to plug it into a wall and charge the ipod at the same time.

Anyone, who says this doesnt fit the nano is a complete moron. You have to push the nano completely in......anyone who says they scratched their nano is an even bigger moron. Also if you try to fit a bigger sized ipod in, it blantenly says on the box "made for the ipod NANO" so your just asking for trouble. Seriously I mean common people its 2008 wake up!!!!! this is a great product.

This item is great for using in a hotel room while traveling. It is not good for everyday use as the sound is not that good. There is no volume control.

Surprised at the sound from such a little speaker. Only drawback is wish it was a charging dock and rechargeable instead of AA battery powered.

I love not always using headphones when i am working out or working outside.With these speakers I can listen to my I Pod and still hear the phone ring,my children playing etc.and take the speakers with me from inside to outside with no wires os plug ins to fool with.Excellent product.Not loud sound but good for it's size.

This only works with the second generation iPod Nano. I have the first one, with the white plastic front and silver back - it DOES NOT FIT. My boyfriend's all-aluminum, colored nano DOES FIT. Great little speaker - sounds good for the size. Just make sure you have the right nano!

I was given this a as gift. I have an IPod Nano that is only a year old and when I tried to insert it into the speaker, not only did it not fit, it scratched my IPod, I have the black one. When they produced a product for a line of IPods, and label it for sale, such as the Nanos, it shoud fit all of them so a customer like me wouldn't try and stick in their expensive items and risk ruining them. What a piece of junk.

iPod nano cannot simply be inserted. Brand new nano (so that's not the problem). Prong in DOC not placed correctly.

I enjoy listening to podcasts on my IPOD when I do desk work at home. This portable speaker frees me from headphones and cords. I recently took it on a camping trip / family reunion. Several relatives ordered their own speaker from [...] when they returned home.

If the dock were able to charge the ipod and also didn't only run on batteries, it would be perfect. But, for such a small unit, the pros outweigh those cons. Perfect for travel.

I was not happy with this product because it did not fit my nano. When I called to return it, they said that it was not for my model nano. When I asked what model it was for, they just said the "newer one". Had no idea if I had the "newer" or older one.

This is perfect for my desk at work. It is loud enough for me to hear but does not bother my co-workers. I have another portable speaker system but the sound is terrible...this has great sound.

I use this all the time. I take it on vacation and use it in my garage. I use it when doing the laundry and also while washing the dishes. It also is great to sit on the sink and play while showering.

I love this speaker system! It comes with a little black bag for safer transportation, and it's super compact. A lot of my music-savvy friends have commented on the great sound quality - this speaker gets loud and still sounds pro. And since it's so small, I can fit it on my cramped college desk with no problems!
The size is small, but the sound is like it came from a much larger device.
