I use this speaker for my desk at work. It is great if an individual wants to listen to his/her MP3 and not use ear phones. Does not get very loud but that's not necessary for individual use.

Whenever my mom is telling me to pluck out my headphones when I'm cleaning my room, I just use this speaker. That way I can hear her if she calls me. Also, now I never get in trouble, like my sister who blasts her music SO loud that you could hear it all the way to the rec. room (farthest room from her room).

The only thing I wish it did was have a rechargeable battery. :(
It will make your Ipod sound like a transistor radio. It has a tinny sound with some static. Also, if you have set your sound limit too low, you will have to adjust the volume limit much higher. If your Ipod has a case that wraps all around, you will have to remove the case to use it. I plan on letting the kids use it to watch videos together so they wouldn't have to share headphones. I like the fact that it's small and very portable.

Bought this speaker at the last minute to use in my hotel room while on a trip with friends. It is small (hence "mini speaker") but gets the job done. Not too loud but quality clear sound (doesn't bother others in next hotel room or drown out your own conversations). The connection to the ipod was easy and secure. I liked the fact that it was easy to pack and no cords!
