This product is great for someone who wants to hear the television clearly when there are other noise distractions in the room, such as a person on the phone. It is also good in allowing for the tv speaker volume to be inaudible making it less disturbing for people sleeping.

[...] It really does work and my mom loves it. You may have to adjust some settings on your TV (sound wise) to get the best audio level. I wish the speaker was smaller but it's ok and I wish there was a hole in the back to allow you to hang it on the wall. The transmitter is about the size of a credit card and has a yellow transmit light on the front. The con is that it doesn't have an on/off switch so it's always transmitting (1 channel only) but I guess you can un-plug it if you are not using for extended periods. My mom wants to order additional speakers for the kitchen and another chair but they don't offer that. You have to buy the whole setup.

I got the Tv hear for a present for my father... he often keeps the tv volume up... and it sometimes disturbs the family so this is perfect... he can carry it around the house if he wants... or can keep it close to him with the volume up and even use the head phones.. it was perfect for him

I purchased one for my mom. She is very hard of hearing, and her TV was up so loud it was bothering her neighbor. This was the perfect solution. I was so pleased with the product, that I purchased one for myself to use while I'm on the elliptical machine....the headphones work just great.

I use it on the nightstand by my bed and I have found that it is not quite as loud as I had thought it would be. The concept is great but they need to improve on the volume controls

Does everything I wanted. However the maximum volume is not as great as I would like.
