I had these for more than a year and I used them every day at work with my MP3 player, until recently when the sound went out in the right earpiece. Also, in the meantime the plastic surface of the headband was flaking off. So for these reasons, when I went looking for new headphones, I wanted to try a different brand in the same price range. Well I have tried FIVE headphones and none of them even came close to the Brookstone. They all sounded damped whereas the Brookstone really sounds clear. I guess I really took for granted how good the Brookstone sounded, I just assumed that any headphones would sound good. So now in the meantime I've just been using some earbuds that are of course uncomfortable but at least sound good. If it weren't for the couple of cons, I'd totally buy a replacement Brookstone!
The sound on these headphones is excellent. They are comfortable to wear and fold up easily to take with you on the road. I've worn them for a year now both while travelling and at the gym or running outdoors. They have been excellent with only one flaw. They do not seem to sell replacement foam pads for this product. If something happens to the foam pads, you essentially have to throw them away. [$] is a bit much for disposable headphones.
