Overall this is a great system that produces a lot of sound. Doesn't stand out like other big systems but still delivers same quality of sound. Being used in office but would recommend for most rooms, even a living room if no other system in there.

We saw this system at a friend's house and were very impressed with the sound, so we had to have our own. Great system that takes up very little space.
We liked it so much, we bought one for our niece as a thank you for dog-sitting for us. She loves it!

My wife did not want a stereo system in our great room, so I hid it in the furniture and connected it to "XM" radio. The combination provides great background music.
People are impressed by the output from such small speakers.
This is a great little unit with full sound. I also like the fact that I can play mp3's.

My wife talked me into having a radio on at night when we sleep. I had seen this system in the store, and was really impressed with the size and sound in the store. When Brookstone had the systems on sale, I could not resist. I purchase one and haven't been the least bit sorry.
We play the radio every night as we sleep. It drowns out outside noises that used to be distracting as we sleep. My wife wasn't real supportive when I told her I wanted to order this system. From the first night, she totally changed her mind. It has remarkable sound quality for its size.
The only two improvements I would really like to see is a battery back-up. Every time we have a power failure I have to reset the clock and the base & treble settings. I would also like the volume control increments to be a little closer together. At 6, it is a little too low and at 7 it is almost too loud for the bedroom. Otherwise, my wife and I are both very satisfied with the Micro System and we sleep more soundly.

It is perfect for my bedside. My kids love to listen to my CDs and dance on my bed. It has great sound, is compact and reasonably priced. This is my second unit though...my first one had something go wrong with one of the speakers. Brookstone replaced the unit without any questions. I would purchase a second unit if I could figure out what to do with it.
