I am a bear collector and I can honestly say this is one of THE very best bears I have found. I sleep with it, I use it as a pillow, even as an arm rest while watching TV. I plan to buy a second one just to have it in case something happens to the first one! Brookstone, the n*a*p Dream Bear is fantastic!

I got this for myself, but my dog (a rat terrier) loves to cuddle up next to this bear. I got the larger one, which is a great deal bigger than the tiny one.
I wouldn't recommend this for a larger breed or a dog that likes to tear things up. My puppy is more of a cuddler, so this bear is perfect for her!

After reading the other comments I purchased the larger sized bear and was really surprised with how big the bear actually was.
The only problem I can for see with the bear is the fur. It seems that it might not hold up to years of loving. It is wonderfully soft but I am concerned about how long it will last or hold up in the laundry.

I like it but it is kind of small, I ordered the 12" bear. It is kind of perfect for my age for it to just be sitting there. It's more for my cat than anything at this point.

I was looking for a stuffed animal for my two kids to sleep with, the problem is that they suffer from allergies so I needed one that could go to the washing machine at the very least every other week. So far after almost three months of use, the two bears have done very well and are still soft like new.

Very soft and reminiscent of older teddy bears. It just needs a nice bow to top it off. When the bear sits it's about 13 inches tall. Great for kids although the 12" bear might be better suited for smaller kids.

I'm a 22 yr old woman,and I love this bear. I use it to take naps with and accompany me on the plane. I love how I can just curl up and I wake up still holding the bear. Very comfortable and soft. Even my friends loved it that they went and bought one. I LOVE IT!!
It is a wonderful, big bear (we bought the 24" size at the store). I wish that the nose and eyes were rated for a toddler or even a younger child. The price was so incredible, that we bought one for each of our sons, nieces and nephews. As aforementioned, the tactile nature of the bear is similar to that of a kitten that stays and allows the child to feel their coat. I think the fur is reminiscent of our Persian kitten.

Picked this up for my future niece/nephew. It is the perfect gift for a baby. I bought the large one for the baby's room and the small one for traveling with. I'm certain it will be the perfect gift, it is soft and cuddly.

I got the bear for Christmas from my boyfriend. I thought it was cute, but felt a little too old for a stuffed animal... boy was I wrong. I love it! Can't sleep without it... sorry babe ; ).

Very soft and cute bear! I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas, she was very happy! The only thing I would consider a con is the bear had a slight plasticy odor upon opening. My daughter noticed it right away after removing it from the package. In a few hours time, he aired out and now he had found his place with the rest of the clan of her stuffed animal friends!

I purchased the bear during a promotional sale. I thought that this bear would make a great “new baby” gift or gift for a small child and I was not disappointed. The bear is very cute and soft…but definitely small. It is a good size for a small child, but for anyone older I would recommend the larger sized bears.

I was disappointed that a teddy bear would even be made that had a frown sewn on instead of a smile! It really did not look like the photo online. It was very soft, like I would expect the nap material to be - but I was still very disappointed when I opened the box.

I shopped for a new teddybear for my new girlfriend for Christmas for about two weeks... It was important to me to find just the right one... right size... right feel. I'd tried just about every place and just happened into the Brookstone store in the local mall and saw the smaller Dream Bear. It's color, and softness were perfect. I came home and ordered the larger bear that afternoon. My girl loves it.

My now 2-yr old son received this bear as a Christmas gift in 2006. Since he received it, he cannot be without it! It's gotten to the point that it goes anywhere and everywhere he goes. Not sure how he will take to a "new" bear since he's really broke the first one in (and having been in the wash many times over the past year!). It makes for a great gift. It's definitely a great buy, superb quality and softness. I highly recommend this bear.

I purchased this bear for my wife on her birthday (at her request). I must admit I am surprised by just how soft this bear is every time I touch it. My wife loves it and I catch her snuggling with it in bed watching TV. It is the perfect size and looks great with any decor.
