I bought this hoping that it would relieve some tension on my shoulders. Its flexibility allows me to easily reach my shoulders and keep it there for a long time without being too strenuous. It's even better on colder days to just warm me up and relieve my shoulder pain.

I am very pleased that the outside can be removed for washing. The feel of the outside material is very soft against the skin. It does not, however, stay very warm for as long as stated. Perhaps 15 minutes. In fact, I put it in the microwave for 2 1/2 minutes, even though the directions say no longer than 1 1/2 minutes.

great product but not practical to use on the back unless you want to hold it there the entire time. otherwise feels great and it retains heat for long periods of time.

I bought this for my Mom, she is recovering from shoulder surgery done a few months ago. She loves this- it makes her feel better after work, and relaxes her tight muscles. I think this is a great gift for anyone who is recovering from surgery or has tight neck/shoulder muscles. The length is definitely a plus, it helps make sure that all areas are covered. It is also incredibly soft!
