Used for jewelery cleaning and glasses. It's GREAT! No chemicals are needed and it made our rings look like new. It's quick and easy too - it only takes a few minutes while I get ready in the morning. The cover worries me though - it pops up nicely now that it's new but seems a little flimsy and there is no handle to open it manually.

My jeweler recommended that I purchase a cleaner since I have bagettes on my wedding ring and always seem dirty. I was surprised that I was able to actually see "stuff" float off of my rings. It seems to work well but it doesn't give that "shine" like the jewelers stone have.

I've several pieces of very nice jewelry, but it isn't always convenient to make the trip to the jeweler's to have it cleaned. Because I live in a very dry climate, I am always using lotions, especially on my hands. Now I can quickly clean my jewelry while I am applying makeup, then have sparkling, like-new jewelry to accessorize. After using my sonic jewelry cleaning on a recent visit, my sister in law has ordered one also. What a treat! Thank you.

I purchased this to help clean my large jewelry collection. It is easy to use; and does help "sparkle". I tested a real dirty piece from my daughter and a watch band. I had to run it thru several cycles. It did not add the sparkle and did need lots of "old fashion" cleaning. This is a great item for keeping your current jewelry clean. The lid did get hard to open after a few uses. It's not worth the price...for me, it is more along the $30 price range. I would recommended it if it is on sale.

This really is a great cleaner! It really gets the dirt and grime out of the tiny crevices in your jewelry which the jars of jewelry cleaner just can't get. Overall this is not a bad product. The design is very stylish, however, the problem is that I can't really tell how great it works as the difference between our jewelry prior to the cleaning process and after the process is not significant. But this could very well be because our jewelry wasn't all that "dirty" in the first place... Tried also rimless glasses and purposely made couple of clearly visible fingerprints on the glasses to see how it works. To my disappointment it did not remove the fingerprints but the parts of the glasses made from steel were definitely cleaner. Also tried on my watches with unnoticeable difference, but again, the watches appeared to be pretty clean prior to the test...
Bottom line: the product does appear to be working and I will not return it, however, I wouldn't have bought it should I have known the "before" and "after" difference will be so hard to notice...

Very good looking unit and easy to use (2 buttons). Seemed to clean well, but a little hard to tell if it's better than typically cleaners. It'd be nice if the machine showed more evidence that the ultrasonic is really working e.g. motion of the water. It doesn't look like it's doing much when it's working but the jewelry does seem cleaner than before.

Cons:
Lid sticks when wet, Limited Timer Options
Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I bought this primarily to clean eyeglasses (my partner and I both wear glasses) and for some small jewelry items, and so far it does appear to do what it promises. It works especially well for glasses, getting the lenses sparkling clean. Jewelry is cleaned after a run through the unit, but it still has to be polished by hand, so the use is limited there unless you are getting dirt out of cracks or links in a chain.
The biggest Con of this unit is the lid, which has no handle on it and is supposed to open via a spring loaded switch on the front. However, after you have run a couple of items through it and some moisture builds up on the seal, the lid gets stuck in place and you have to pry it open with a knife or some other thin, narrow object. The designers should have skipped the spring loading and just put a handle on the lid so you coud open it yourself.
Also, the timer options are extremely limited, for some reason limited to increments of 80, 180, 280, etc. through 580 seconds.
Overall, it is worth the money if you have lots of jewelry to keep clean or if you wear glasses and don't want to mess around with those sprays or premoistened wipes to keep them clean.
