I'm really pleased with these headphones. I am retired and am getting a little hard of hearing. Now instead of asking my husband what was said on TV or asking him to turn the set up, I now don't have to keep interrupting him when we are watching a program on TV. When we have overnight company I can listen to my bedroom TV without disturbing them in the next room. I'm very pleased and intend to purchase another pair today one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Very happy!!!!

If you need a good quality travel headphone, with clear sound and low body, this is the best value for your money, the price comparing to other headphones is amazing..trust i spend to much on 8 different headphones ranges between 80-120 euro..this headphone does the job, lightweight for traveling..and the music you know...just sounds good in every detail.

I have been using these for about a year and in my opinion the sound quality is good. I use these at work for hours at a time. They are great for blocking out background noise. My problem with these is that they are not real confortable to me. I am not sure if it is my head or the headphones. I got these at a second hand store for a couple dollars and am still using these because I can't find anything reasonably priced that blocks out the noise as well and is more comfortable. While they are not real comfortable for me, I do wear these for several hours at a time, so they they are not that bad. I had tried another brand of headphones recently and they gave me a headache after 10 minutes of usage.

So overall these seem like a good deal for the price.

A bit confused regarding this headphone.....i love headphones..have to many...and know the difference between good and bad sound quality....but this headphone makes me smile.....the music that i know inside out, produces the "top" high and even some low body volume...i use this for traveling and must say, ...you can't go wrong on this model....

ps tip for the Brookstone boy's...please change the left and right connectors..because the headphone ear-shelfs turns the wrong way flat ;-)

I purchased these because I needed new headphones for working out and I usually don't like ear buds because they wall out when weight lifting. I purchased these with a $25 for $50 to Brookstone Living Social deal.

I returned them because the highs were incredibly harsh at higher volumes. I primarily listen to hard rock and metal and tested the headphones with high quality lossless audio files. After tinkering with the iPhone 5's built in EQ settings I was able to find a few tolerable settings (Loudness, Small Speakers, Bass Booster, Treble Reducer) but the sound quality was less than desirable. After an hours workout, I removed the headphones and my ears felt as if I had spent 3 hours in the front row of a death metal show. It's the sensation you get when you are damaging your ears. Immediately returned them.

I had purchased ear buds before (twice) however these have a much better sound, they're comfortable AND stylish and they pack a punch for the price. I saw these at the airport and the Brookstone worker was so nice, she allowed me to open the package and try them on. These cancelled out all the airport noise...I was in my own little world... and they made the layover/trip MUCH more pleasurable.

I have been using these headphones at home with my computer. They do have good sound but nothing exceptional or may be my expectation was too high after reading other raving reviews.
I tried switching between my old ($10) headphones and these, there was not too much of a difference. The only thing is that the ear-covering design helps cancel some of the noise when compared to other ear-bud type design.

They are very light in weight and can be folded easily and stored.
Although I dont feel the weight after long usage ( I live in a shared place), the design starts hurting my ear. They clamp on the ears, which is good to reduce the outside noise but start to hurt the outside of the ears. After a couple of hours of using these, I noticed the outside skin of the ear turning red and bones hurting. I tried loosening them but nothing helps.
