I use my iPads daily for business use, and this easel basically makes my iPad an extra screen for all my work activities. I do my email and Social Networking on the iPad so I can use my desktop an laptop screens for design applications. There are only two things I would wish to improve this product: Include a rechargeable battery instead of 3-AAA slot, that recharges when the device is plugged in. Nice that it recharges iPad (or iPhone) when plugged in, but really wish I wasn't always having to remove and replace batteries and use a separate charger for those. Also, instead of it's own unique AC plug-in, making use of the USB rechargers that come with all iPads would be smart and make this much more travel friendly.

I needed a speaker that would allow me to use my iPad horizontally or vertically since some apps can only be used one of the 2 ways. I needed a speaker that could be heard by all students in a classroom. This speaker does not sound loud enough for the apps I use it with. The connection is inconsistent and there are times when I have to keep pushing the blue-lit power button to reconnect it to my iPad. I DO like how it charges my iPad, though. It seems to charge it faster than the traditional method with the iPad charger.

I had to return the first one, simply drained batteries and didnt charge Ipad. Second one worked for a while, and while I cant prove it, damaged my Ipad.

This is a second unit that the batteries won't last. They only last 2 days without ipad in and switch off. I found the switch on/off will not work on batteries, and it withdraw about 40ma constantly. How to correct that ?

This speaker was not too bad with ITunes, but the IPAD alone was still a better quality of sound than with this speaker. However, I primarily wanted to use it with Amazon cloud app that has most of my music. The sound with this app was absolutely unlistenable. I returned the product the next day after receiving it to the local store. Thankfully, they were good at giving me a full refund. I had gotten free shipping, so this wasn't a problem.

This is a great product if you have an ipad 1 or 2. The latest ipad does not work with this docking station. If you have the ipad with the small charger it will not work. This is the same charger for the iPhone 5. My husband has the ipad 2 and likes this docking station but I have the latest ipad and can not use it. Be careful what you order.
