I received this as a birthday gift and was very impressed with how far Texas Instruments has come with their technology. My kids love watching their favorite movies anywhere in the house. The specs say up to 50" screen, but I just measured it in a dark room at 110" and it was fun to watch.If I could add a couple features, it would be a brightness/color control. The image is clear, but rather washed out with TOO bright of colors. The projector is designed with a rugged material (won't scratch your phone at all), but I would like a case to put it in when not in use. At [$] I don't want to damage this thing! The speaker should have been placed on a side instead of under the unit so it doesn't get muffled when playing. In addition, a 3.5mm jack on the back would be nice for hooking it up to headphones/external speakers. You can still use your headphone jack on your iPhone, but the cord can obstruct the projector if not careful. Finally, there is a blue light that flashes when it is in use. Seeing that you have to have a dark room, this is rather distracting to see out of the corner of your eye. Overall, this is a blast to use. I have impressed my friends with this awesome gadget!

This projector is alright, but when it's connected to an iPhone 4/4S, iPod Touch or an iPad, projection functionality is limited by the video out capability of the app used and Apple. I found an app, Go Universal, on the iTunes store that enhances the power of your projector! Now you can easily project and share Facebook, the World Wide Web, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files and more. This app made my projector much more functional. I recommend everyone check out Go Universal on the iTunes App store.

This is an awesome device, but it will not work if you upgraded your operating system to iOS6...Brookstone will not fix this. The only thing you can do is downgrade to iOS5, however Apple does not let you downgrade devices. You can Google how to downgrade a different way though.

I bought this online and I was amazed of how good it was, I can even watch full Netflix movies on my living room wall. It gives you the Theather effect, just plug it to sorround stereo and you are there!
The room has to be very dark and must have a nice wall to project to get the best image.

No app with this device. So all I can do is watch movies and slide shows BUT, I found an app that made this projector come alive. No I can show Facebook, Netflix, Youtube, single photos and even attachments. It's on the Apple App store and called Go Universal. Now I love this thing!

My husband and I saw this product at the store before Christmas. A store employee kindly gave us a demonstration and my husband loved it. For some reason, he didn't purchase the projector that day, BUT I did the following week without him knowing and gave it to him as a Christmas present. He LOVES IT!! His fascination with the projector surpassed my own sons' when they received their toys.
My husband took the projector to the office the next morning and showed his co-workers ALL the videos he had on his phone. I feel for them...
Anyways, he carries it with him everywhere, it helps that it is very portable, discreet, no need to plug any wires anywhere, it's slick, and the picture quality is pretty good.
He'll use it to show off videos of my youngest son playing the drums or showing the little ones cartoons so they can settle down at a restaurant. It was the best Christmas gift I have ever gotten him! (said by him!!) and am officially the coolest wife ever in his books. :)
