The projector works well for video in a dark room. It doesn't work well with much light. The focus is adjustable, a definite plus. It does not project web sites, so is ineffective to use to teach small groups which was my intent. I do enjoy it for pesonal use in a hotel room when travelling, so kept it for that reason. It also acts as a battery backup, which is nice. The iphone must be undocked from the device to charge, an inconvenience. I also have a white iphone and got a black projector - a mistake since it looks a lot like a phone case.

This was a gift; and I'm sooo thankful for it. I don't own a TV, so I do all my watching through Netflix and Hulu. Hulu does NOT allow hdmi out, so that app will not work with the projector. However, Netflix does, and I watched entire seasons of Sons of Anarchy and Heroes. Awesome.
There's also a heating issue- watching for long periods of time can overheat the phone. But maybe that's a sign I should be taking a break.

This was a Christmas gift from my wonderful hubby! We did a quick watch out of the box and I was blown away! After charging the battery fully and trying to be more purposeful with it, I am even more impressed. It gives a nice, clear picture even on textured paint. The audio leaves a bit to be desired but I don't think you could expect much with such a small device.
The only two things that would put it over the top would be a kickstand (so I don't have to hold it or find something to prop it on) and maybe a sliding cover for the projector lens. It doesn't do me much good at home in a padded case but I also don't want to damage that little lens!
