This chair allows you to read while floating around. No other chair comes upright enough to allow this. I am buying my second one after about 3 or 4 years because my goats got ahold of the first one and ate it. If you don't have goats, you're in luck for having an item that will look good for years.

Great product, but I wish I'd known before I bought it that it can't be left in the sun. Instructions say to store in the shade when not in use, because UV rays will cause degradation of the material.

Drink holders depth is way too shallow to hold a beer bottle or any normal height cup used for drinks around pools.

No matter what cup we use, they consistently fall into pool. Ridiculous design considering the price of this thing,. The designer should have tried to use this is his pool

This was a great idea however, when the back of the float is in the up position, the foot part rises out of the water. I do not recommend this.

I have never written a bad product review although, last year(2012) during pool season we purchased several floats. I choose the Brookstone adjustable back chair float shown above for myself. It was the most expensive pool float purchased. Ironically, everything is in working order and looks just the same as last year(including cheap blow-up's for the kiddo's). Except for my Brookstone chair! Which is embarrassing to have out by the pool. It looks at least 20 yrs old. Finish has cracked and peeled. Not worth the $$ after one pool season! Finish is not solid.
