Did you know the motto "In God We Trust" wasn't mandatory on currency until 1955?
It didn't become the national motto of the United States until July 30, 1956. The law was signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The Motto No Motto Currency Collection contains three genuine US one dollar bills in an acrylic 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" black wall frame. The US currency includes a $1 silver certificate, a $1 bill without a motto and a $1 bill with the motto. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
