The stools are a wonderful addition to my remodeled kitchen. Guests and family love sitting at the island for breakfast or to surf the net. The chairs are well-made and easy to assemble. Although I was going for a taupe color, the chair cushions are a lighter golden tan. They're still neutral enough and far enough away so that they do not clash with our taupe dinette chairs. Don't expect the chairs to swivel back to their original position. When someone gets up, we usually have to set the chairs straight. The piping around the edge of the cushion and back are a nice feature. It makes the stools look much more expensive than they are. Overall, we like the stools and hope to have them for years to come.
