This is a great idea but the product doesn't live up to its advertising. My wife was so happy to receive the unit from me for Christmas but was then so disappointed in the performance of the unit. The cord is far too short and you must use a long extension cord, which then looks so tacky. The unit will not even heat one towel to a warm feeling much less two. Part of the problem may be that the top is so flimsy and doesn't fit tightly or evenly. The unit looks very nice just sitting there but is not very useful.

I gave this as a gift to my fiance but I ended up using it. I loved having two warm towels, one to dry off with and one for my wet hair. It takes up a lot of space, the power button did not always work the first time it was pressed. Then it quit working completely after four months. What a bummer.

It heats ok but not great. I had to turn it on twice in order to get really warm towels.
It stopped working after about a year and a half. I actually bought another one, fool that I am, just because the only other towel heater I could find was a small box shaped one that didn't fit in my bathroom. If I could find another upright towel heater other than this one, I'd buy it instead. For the price you would think it could last longer than 18 months.

We've had the warmer for 3 months and love it when it works correctly, but that hasn't been very often. It's VERY inconsistent and the heat in the towels is always very spotty. We've tried every way imaginable to put the towel into the warmer to get more even heat, but nothing works the same way twice. Actually pretty disappointed. It doesn't live up to our previous good experiences with Brookstone products.

I used this once at my Aunt's house and fell in love with it. I bought my own and love it. It is nice to come out of the shower and have a warm towel ready, especially in Michigan!(because if you live in the desert in Arizona or something where it is 100 degrees always, of course it'll be a useless product to you..) It heats evenly, I would suggest getting higher-end towels, because cheap towels will lose the heat too fast (a big complaint in the reviews). Overall great product at a reasonable price.

Use in bathroom but can't have too close to shower since it is electic and must be on hard surface, not bathmat. You either have to exit the shower dripping wet to retreive towel or use another towel to dry off before you can use it. It was a gift and a dumb idea.
