I found Brookstone to be one of the few suppliers to offer small wood constructed tool sheds at a reasonalbe price. I have a large barn style shed on one side of my property. However, I needed my garden tools, soil, pruners, rakes and ect. close at hand. This shed is located on the side of my garage in a southern location. I live in Sacramento, California were we have extreme summers of 110 degrees and wet winters averaging 28 degrees. This shed appears to be holding well. I will however use a (PAINT STAIN) to match the house and give the wood better protection. I highly suggest you use color stain so that several years from now you wont get flaking paint from regular paint. This shed took forty-five minutes and two people to erect. One person could do it but I feel it would take a couple hours. I first layed a foundation of 12" stepping stones. I wanted this shed to last! So, I highly suggest putting it on a concrete surface. The directions were extremely easy to follow. The only problem with the shed I found was the wood flashing. I would have preferred metal flashing. The wood flashing looks very nice but I fear it will not last. So, I figure in a few years I will replace the existing roof with matching house shingles and new flashing for a total of fifteen dollars. I also found the shipping cost to be very expensive. All in all I am extremely pleased with this tool shed. It has exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this shed to anyone looking for a wonderful little, good looking storage unit.

This is a great small shed for miscellaneous garden tools. Easy to asemble and doesn't require 2 people. Recommend power screwdriver. Shipper was absolutley awful. Arrived 5 1/2 hours late and was incensed that I berated him for his unexcused tardiness. He refused to deliver the product unless I apologized to him! He left without delivery. I was able to secure delivery the next day after discussing with the local delivery company manager.

We bought this ourselves then gave it to our kids in San Diego as a gift. They were extremely happy with it! I do plan to bring a few more screws on my next visit to re-enforce and keep the frame tight against the tongue in groove multi-slat upper & lower split backwall of the shed. It's perfect on initial set-up, but over time the loosening frame lets the back wall bow in or out. A few extra screws would easily prevent this.

I love this shed for storing my garden tools, fertilizers and such. It's easy to access everything I need from shovels to planting supplies. You can add additional storage hooks and shelving if you like. I also plan on staining the shed to compliment our house. Recommend using an electric screwdriver to put together.

We purchased this shed about 6 years ago, needing a shed that was not too big or high. The size was perfect, storage great for the size and the shed has held up in a damp and sometimes windy environment (we live on the water).
The only part which has not weathered too good is where the doors are fastened to the shed frame. The hardware is OK, but the wood where the screws are fastened is lightweight. Over time with rain and wind, the door hardware comes off, (of course the door follows) and the wood needs to be replaced and/or repaired.
Otherwise I have liked the shed and intend to purchase another.
