I use it to control the background music without having to leave my chair or the persons I am speaking with. The speakers are excellent and this remote transmitter is a fine complement to the system.

We use this to transmit iPod music to a Brookstone Outdoor speaker. With speaker and iPod at full volume it is just barely adequate. The outdoor speaker connected to our Bose radio is much better. But then you have too many commercial breaks.
