Both my husband and I have severe back problems. While this doesn't take away the pain, it temporarily relieves it. On the healthcare setting it even gives us that "oh it hurts so good" feeling. I tried more expensive chairs and they didn't go the length of my body the way this one does - from the middle of my head to my ankles. The only thing I don't like is that it isn't real comfortable to sit in just to watch tv without the massagers going. I have a small living room and this is the only chair in it.

The chair is good and somewhat effective (my husband and I both have back problems), but we had trouble with the original "M-clips" that work in conjunction with the "seat massage/air bags." Upon the very first massage, you could hear and feel clicks and snaps. At one point, there was a very loud snap and ping, whereupon we looked under the chair to find several gold metallic "M-clips" had broken off from the chair. [...] Bottom line: If you want a real massage, get one. There is still no substitute. The chair is helpful and relaxing, but if you're ready to buy this particular model, make sure that you are buying one with the NEW (silver-colored, not gold-colored) "M-clips." [...]

This product helps releive pain in my back and relaxes me so much that most of the time I fall to sleep towards the end of the cycle. I was lucky and got the floor model so saved a lot of money, Got the extra warnety just in case. I use the product at least three times a day if possible.

We looked at TONS of chairs, many much more expensive, before finally deciding on this model, plus it had just gone on sale when we bought it.GREAT massage! With the exception of the upper shoulder area, this chair really gets in deep in all areas, plus it has air inflation in the seat and legs which is very comfortable. This chair gives a deeper massage even than the more expensive model right beside it in the store. The pre-programmed options are more than adequate. I usually use the healthcare program because it lasts the longest. Or, you can manually put the rollers right where you need them and adjust the massage time.[...]

We attended a 3 day trade show at the convention centre. The chair was in the rental condo unit. Used it every night after 8-12 hour days standing in a booth. It was so amazing.
