I'm a Nursing student who currently works as Clinical Nurse Extern in Labor and Delivery. I work 3, 12-hour shifts weekly and at the end of a work day my lower back, calves, and feet literally burn. I leave work feeling like a truck has run me over. I had been researching massage chairs for quite some time and I even made an appointment to get a Full Body massage at a local "High End" Spa. I paid $100 for a 1 hour Swedish massage. My experience in-store with the UAstro was beyond remarkable. I had to make the purchase. My 1 hour massage at the Spa was nothing compared to the 10 minutes I spent in the UAstro. I'd recommend this chair to every working person who spends hours on their feet. It's such a pain-relieving, soothing experience after a long day of work. I'm currently awaiting the arrival of my UAstro 2 and I'm actually going to have a Massage Party for my friends and family to try it out. I'm in love and I'll be able to get a full body massage every night for the rest of my life. Thank you Brookstone and the makers of the UAstro and UAstro 2!!!

When my wife and I were faced with spending about the same amount on a 10th Anniversary cruise, we stopped by Brookstone on the way to a tour office. We both tried the chair and our decision was made. Now, over a month after the cruise would have ended, we are still enjoying this wonderful chair. And better than that, my wife loves the deep tissue massage, and I prefer a softer, gentle massage that lulls me to sleep. We are so glad we did it this way. And with a little checking of credit card rates and specials, this was around $34 a month.

I held off buying this chair for years because of the cost. Now that I own it, my only regret is that I did not buy it sooner. I get occasional back pain and sometimes it becomes unbearable, but 15 minutes in the chair and I get relief without drugs. The foot massager is great also. I am paying about $165 month with zero percent financing and it is well worth it.

Almost everyone has enjoyed using the chair and we are pleased with it. The neck and shoulder massage components could do a better job but overall we like the rest of it.

I recently purchased the OSIM® uAstro™2 Massage Chair. I have chronic back and neck pain issues. Having this chair at my disposal, allows me to minimize the amount of pain I experience daily. I currently seek treatment for pain management, and require pain medication to minimize pain levels. Having this cheer at my disposal, minimizes the amount of pain I experience daily, and the amount of medication required complete my daily obligations. My energy levels have increased, and I no longer desire to spend my time on the couch. My general attitude at work has improved. and I now have the energy required to make it through the day. It has also improved my circulation. I would recommend this chair to anyone who suffers from chronic pain issues.

I am 6"3" and it can be adjusted to support my long body but I have to constantly push too hard on the feet/leg device to keep it in place. This prevents relaxation of my legs and lower back.
Also the velcro to hold up the neck device will not allow adjusting to a place high enough for me, so I have to push it up and adjust every time that I lay back. I wish that I could get neck and legs adjusted for each person and then have it stay in place until the chair is returned to the start position.
To use the slightly reclined chair to sit in between massages, I have to prop my feet on top of the foot/leg device or my knees would be almost as high as my shoulders.
