Great to use in my sewing room and another one we use in the living room for reading and just some good lighting. Have been most pleased with their performance. Am considering buying a third one and purchased one for my elderly parents who had difficulty reading with their lamps but found these to be excellent source of lighting.

As a practicing Optometrist, I use these in my office and suggest them for anyone using a reading or hobbie light. When you compare side by side to regular lamps, that is when you really can see the difference in color and comfort with less glare.
When people buy light bulbs they often get the cheapest, or the brightest they find.
This full spectrum light is the same type used for light therapy to prevent "cabin fever" from lack of sunlight. This is money well spent, and the bulb I am using now as I'm writing this is at least five years old, and I use it every day.
