The New York Times headline, Tuesday, April 16, 1912 reports the sinking of the White Star luxury liner the Titanic, one of the most studied disasters of the 20th century. An official reproduction of the front page, five genuine U.S. 1912 coins are displayed in a 16" x 14" black wall frame. The New York Times was one of the first to report the sinking of the Titanic seen here in this official reproduction of the actual New York Times front page. This collection also contains genuine U.S. coins minted in 1912, a Lincoln Wheat Ear Penny, a Liberty Head Nickel, a Silver Barber Dime, a Silver Barber Quarter and a Silver Barber Half Dollar. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
