Peace Through Understanding', the theme from the 1964 World's Fair held in New York City, captured the essence of American businesses.

The New York Times celebrated the 1964 World's Fair by adding a pull out booklet with six pages detailing the event! A reprint of the New York Times front page, dated April 22, 1964, accompanies 3 US postage stamps and 3 US coins in a black vinyl 6 by 8 inch portfolio. The 1964 World's Fair was visited by over 51 million people who viewed the 12 story steel Unisphere, which still stands today in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

Enjoy this reminder of mid 20th century American technology and culture, which includes the reprint of the New York Times front page, the New York 1964 World's Fair 5 cent US postage stamp, the New York 1939 World's Fair 3 cent US postage stamp, the Seattle 1962 World's Fair 4 cent US postage stamp, and 3 US coins: the Lincoln Memorial Penny, Jefferson nickel and Roosevelt dime minted in 1964.
