I bought this kit for my wife because I watch TV at bedtime and she wants to sleep. She uses the eye mask every night and says it does a great job of blocking the light and is also comfortable to wear. The ear plugs work well, but are pretty standard. We haven't had an opportunity to use the neck pillow yet, but as it is made out of the same material as the eye mask, we're assuming it will be very comfortable for an upcoming 12 hour car trip.
I occasionally travel to Europe and plan to borrow the eye mask and neck pillow for my flights based on her feedback. I had a good experience shopping at Brookstone.com and although I think these are a bit overpriced for what you get, they are made well and perform as advertised.

This is a great idea for a travel kit. The eye mask is wonderful and comfortable, and I was very excited about the inflatable neck pillow because it would really save space when deflated. However, the neck pillow slowly deflated over about an hour. I had to keep inflating it. What a pain!

The neck pillow and eye shade are useful for traveling. The ear plugs are not worth much and do not work well. Just get an iPod or mp3 player of your choice, load your favorite tunes and crank up the volume instead.

I bought two sets for an overseas trip. I used these along w/ my Nap Blanket. It was a blessing to have the ear plugs, eye mask, and neck pillow to get comfortable for the 26 hour flying that we did to get to our destination! Great comfort!

I couldn't get the thing blown up - Layover in Denver for 12 hours. Tried multiple times. Store clerk couldn't help me. Strangers couldn't blow it up either (it wasn't just me). Maybe it was defective - I was frustrated, wanted the comfort. Returned item. Afraid to purchase another, but I want to.

I agree that it is definitely carry on friendly. For me the best feature is that I have multiple covers for the former u-shaped nap covered neck pillows that I love, and those covers fit,too. I can always have a clean one with me.

i really thought that a brookstone travel pillow would be better than the run of the mill one i bought at an airport years ago and didn't like...but it's just the same. very disappointing...wish i'd just gotten a cheap inflatable and saved the money.
