very nice material! ultra plush and soft. comfortable armrests; light is convienient, though not very bright; very light-weight; wide enough for even heavy people like myself.

Very good idea, loved the light. Sits to upright, not bendable and doen not mold to the body. A wall would be just as comfortable. Not deep enough either, would be better if it leaned back slightly without the arms leaning with it. Wished it worked for us. Husband has a bad neck and has to study in bed, thought this would be a solve all, not so :( a few adjustments and would have been great.

I bought this for my 80 year old mother so she could read in bed. I liked the idea of the book light and massager. Unfortunately she found it uncomfortable. Brookstone was very good about handling the return.

Most of my stitching is done sitting on the bed, watching the tv or listening to music, this can be really tough on the back and this bed rest has taken care of that. The message is a bit too much, but a little at a time works well, and I can now work at night thanks to the light. This is what I have been looking for, and I would recommend it to everyone, and buy it again. Love it.

I bought this for myself for my birthday. I always treat myself to something completely frivolous. I read in bed every night - it's how I wind down. This chair is very comfortable. Once I am done with it, I fold up the arms, scoot down a bit, and go to sleep. It's just what I wanted. The only downside is the foam smells. Having had a memory foam mattress, I know the smell dissipates after a couple days (it is gone now; I have had it for four days) and it's a bit pricey for a glorified wedge pillow. But I am still plenty happy with it and, in fact, am going to go use it right now.

due to an injury I spend alot of time resting in bed. This is great for watching TV and the massage really helps. I wish the arms were longer. My right arm hits the buttons all the time, but other than that it's great for relaxing
