Can't heat without massage.

I was excited to try this because my feet get very cold, but it doesn't get very warm (not even close to a heating pad). Even worse, you can't use the heating function without turning on the massager! Well, what if I don't want a massage? The massager is not that comfortable (basic vibration-- not a very effective foot massage) and it's EXTREMELY loud! I had my studio monitor headphones on with music turned up and could still hear it. Returning this ASAP.
It's very soft, but I think a pair of super-plush slipper booties would be warmer and more practical.

very disappointed - wanted to use just for heat but there was no heat and just a very loud massaging option. Too noisy to use at night in the bedroom and I really wanted it for the heat.

I was very excited to give this gift, but the first one mailed was torn on the side. The Brookstone store in the mall was very good about exchanging! :) However, upon use, the massager stays on all the time. I wanted it for my friend primarily as a foot warmer under her desk or by her bed at night. The massage function does not turn off and most often you do not want both.

I wish you could turn off the massage and just have heat. I use this in my office at work, and while it does not get hot, it keeps my feet warm and comfortable. My feet are always cold, and this does the trick! I like the massage, but I don't need it all the time.

This product promised comfort through soft material which it was. It also promised heat. After 10 minutes
plugged in, it vibrates ok, but there is no heat! I was really disappointed:( I returned it.

This thing vibrates - vibration does not equal massage.
As for "Foot Warmer" description - it is false. It does not get warm enough to warm up my feet. You can not use "Heat" function without noisy vibration. Overall I see no use for this product. Don't waste your money.

This thing is a really good idea, but I'm really sad that it doesn't work. All it does is vibrate and make a lot of noise. I haven't noticed it really heating at all, which is the only reason I wanted it. It also doesn't let you heat without the massage, which would be annoying if it did heat at all.

Sadly it's not possible to only warm your feet - the vibrating massage element must be turned on for the heater to function. The heater itself is very low powered - I have poor circulation in my feet (they're like ice in the winter) and I barely felt any change while the warmer/massager was fully powered. The only plus worth mentioning is that the plush material is quite soft and in itself comfortable.
